Not recommended for my Latin countrymen.
Are they looking for people with professional ethics who love to serve God and the country and love why they studied and for what? . A Doctor with many anti-values.

No Regrets
Four weeks ago I had lumbar surgery. Hours after surgery I was out of bed walking to the bathroom with no pain that I suffered 24/7 severely for 4 solid months. Crying at times for relief. Dr Houle is my hero 2nd to my father who was a WWII wounded vet of Iwo Jima. He worked his magic in my spine and now it is up to me to not mess up his amazing work. He is a very personable doctor very skilled in his work and explanations to his patients. Ask all the questions you have. He will be honest and straightforward in his answers. He told me we had to get me participating in life again and those words were music to my ears. I thank God daily for Dr Houle and his talent and his staff. Also everyone at Cape Cod Hospital was gracious and caring for me. Plus my room for one night had a terrific view of the harbor and sunset. It’s like God knew my love of sunsets and booked me a room! Thanks Dr Houle for giving me a painless existence. I am forever grateful.

Don't Go
Dr. Houle's surgery was not successful. I had to have a spinal cord stimulator in my back after he botched the neurotomy. Two surgeons suggested that the neurotomy made my pain worse. Unfortunately, I told him I was okay on a virtual visit. I was sick of him and his very rude PA who didn't believe I was still in pain 4 weeks after the surgery. She kept touching the area where I told her it hurt, saying, "This hurts?" as if she didn't believe me. She also kept repeating that "This has never happened before." He was in the office the day I was there in horrific pain 4 weeks after the surgery, and didn't bother to step in and talk to me.

Dr. Houle was able to use minimally invasive surgery to help with lower back pain with pain running down my leg. I was told time and again "nothing could be done." I'm 1 month out from surgery and pain free. I would recommend him to anyone who thinks "nothing can be done. "

My daughter had a cervical fusion in December. She started to experience pain and discomfort post surgery that never went away. At her follow up she was told they don’t know what’s wrong because the x Ray looks fine. She was discharged at that point and it now experiencing pain to the point of tears with no support.

After many years of “back pain,” Dr. Houle correctly identified my problem as in my sacrifice-iliac joint. I had day surgery and an uneventful recovery. Dr. House and his PA Jennifer Miller are professional, attentive, and take time to answer all questions. Excellent care right on Cape Cod.

I had LumbarMicrodecompresdion surgery by Dr. Paul Houle this past March 2017. Several months have passed now and I am hoping any who read this will clearly understand that my experience with Dr. Houle and his staff was exceptional! Everyday I note something that I can do that was not possible before my surgery. If Dr.Houle indicates you are a candidate for this surgery. No need to be anxious or nervous. I couldn’t be more pleased with my results! Thank you Dr.Houle and Staff!

I just had a visit with the PA and I was very disappointed in her she was in too much of a rush I would tell her things and she would just yes me she rushed me out the door so fast that she forgot to make a follow up appointment she ended up calling me on my cell on the ride home very disappointed if you could go see Dr. Houle directly you would be better off The PA doesn't know what she's doing . I am sure that I am talking to deaf ears but it's worth a shot I hope that Dr. Houle sees this

Dr Houle was fantastic. I was very frustrated with the pain that I had radiating down my left arm for over four months. We tried other non invasive methods but it was finally determined that I needed surgery. I had Cervical Arthroplasty (cervical disk replacement), and it was by far the best decision that I have made. I currently have no residual pain and honestly if I didn't have the scar to show for it I wouldn't even know it had been done. Highly recommend this procedure and Dr Houle.

When my L3-4 disc sent shards into my spinal nerve, I was in increasingly difficult pain. It took over 3 weeks from my first call to my first appointment. Once in Dr. Houle's office, I was very impressed with his staff and with the doctor himself. Once he saw me and read my MRI, he scheduled me for surgery the very next day. Dr. Houle removed 3 shards of disc material w/ a small incision. I'm VERY impressed with him and with CCHospital in general - and am recovering nicely now.

The surgery was carefully and clearly described, the procedure went and planned and the results are amazing. The case was very well managed at all stages and the team was well organized and efficient. I would recommend this doctor and staff without reservation and I speak with the experience of several back surgeries with other medical teams. My surgery has left me pain free for the first time in many years.

I was living in constant pain from a ruptured disk sitting on a nerve. None of the treatments I went through did anything to alleviate the problem, quite the contrary, it only made matters worse. Then I saw Dr. Houle who performed an endoscopic discectomy on my left L5-S1 on 5/15/2017, which has given me a life free of back pain. The entire procedure took roughly an hour, the incision is small and barely noticeable. I didn't even need any pain medication afterwards! Thank you so much!
