Dr. Paul Jacobsen, MD

Dr. Jacobsen was very helpful and knowledgeable. He has a lovely demeanor that set me right at ease.

Dr Jacobsen saved my brain from seizures and seizure activity from post stroke brain damage. What was most notable that seven years of seeing other doctors, running a myriad of tests with no help he solved the puzzle w/ just a couple of visits. Doctor literally gave me my brain back, when other had no clue.

I first saw this doctor years ago when I was in my early twenties and he seemed like he understood what I was going through and tried to help me. Fast forward 30 years I went to see him again for my migraines thinking he was a nice doctor and would be helpful. Boy was I wrong. He has a bad bedside manner, is rude, arrogant and condescending. He acted like I was crazy and made me feel awful to tears. I have had migraines all my life, I really needed help. I told my ins. 2 NOT recommend him ever!

Let's start at the beginning. They no longer accepted my insurance and then canceled my appointment without notifying me or the referring doctor. I got insurance they accepted and went to the specialist. I called one month later thinking I should have at least received the referral paperwork but it turns out it was never sent and the doctor went on vacation. I asked the Medical assistant on the phone if this happens often, and she said, "yes all the time with this provider" Go elsewhere.

Save yourself the headache and do not visit this charlatan for migraines. Hew is arrogant, condescending and rude. His knowledge about migraines is terribly outdated. He has no interest in listening to his patients and has preconceived ideas about how he will treat, when he has never before even met the patient, not ascertained previous treatment history. He should not be in this field of medicine.
