Dr. Paul Laband, MD

My visit to Skin Lab & Contour resulted in a nightmare. The injections by Joanna Magpiong left me with severe complications including drooping eyelids, blurred vision, and intense headaches. The subsequent medical bills totaled $50,000, with three ER visits required. Despite attempts to contact Dr. Paul M. Laband, the medical director, no response was received. Shockingly, discrepancies were found in the consent form, and Dr. Laband's absence raises concerns. Additionally, HIPAA regulations were violated, and false accusations of theft were made by the staff. Avoid Skin Lab & Contour at all costs.

My experience has been good when I can finally see the Dr. Laband. I referred my husband to Dr. Laband and he has recently been suffering with excruciating sciatic pain. He called Dr. Laband's office and never received a return call. When he finally received a response, he was offered an appt. 2 to 3 weeks out. This is outrageous. He is in an incredible amount of pain and can not sit or lie down which makes sleeping impossible. Since he could not see Dr. LaBand and only days after received a phone call from his office (offering an appt 3 weeks out), he went to urgent care and saw and also saw an osteopath. He was offered ibuprofen with no other recommendations. Needless to say the ibuprofen barely touched the pain and did not allow him to rest. Medical care in this county and country is unspeakably negligent. At the very least his primary care physician could give him a call. Unacceptable and I am very sorry I referred my husband to this practice.

Dr Laband is caring, compassionate, intelligent and thorough. He never makes me feel rushed, always listens to me carefully and thoughtfully and is an excellent diagnostician. He has an equally wonderful and calm manner.
