Incompetent and irresponsible
Dr. Lantz made my feet worse. After a brief physical exam he declared I have CRPS with no basis in anything. Recommended I order insoles which didn't make sense for my feet and actually increased pain, same generic ones he likely recommends to everyone. Didn't notice the glaring Plantar Fasciitis later recognized by a good doctor. Said he would call me to follow up on my X-rays, he did not. Preached about the UIC team working together and communicating to get me better. Did not speak to the Neurologist I saw before him or the pain management he referred me to after. Pain management doctor was somehow worse and confused as to why I was referred. Symptoms keep worsening and he neglected me completely. UIC controls the reviews so you will never see this on their website.

Dr. Lantz is a great podiatrist
Originally, I went to see Dr. Lantz for arch issues, as I have flat feet. He suggested Vionic brand of shoewear as well as Power Step inserts for non-Vionic shoes. After buying both the inserts and the Vionic brand sandals and gym shoes, my feet are improving and I notice a huge difference. Recently, he removed a toenail that had been damaged when I dropped a keyboard on it a few years ago. It is healing perfectly. In a few months, I will be having him perform bunion surgery on a bunion I have had for over twenty years. I trust him completely. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring, professional, and genuine!
