Not great
He immediately went with a schizophrenic diagnosis without knowing much about me or my circumstances. That's not right to diagnose that if it's not true, I don't have visual auditory hallucinations and if I do its because i took a drug i wasn't supposed to. He also said, would you rather be looked at as a criminal or someone with a mental health diagnosis. Where did that come from?

Extremely patient & Listens well
Telehealth
He is very subtle with his methods, and aims to help you guide yourself thur difficult situations or parts of your life. rather than tell you what to do or not to do, which is not effective at all.

Medical visit
I have been a patient of Dr. Luther for 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable about psychiatry, psychology. He is very well-trained, very attentive, patient, kind, and he spends a lot of time talking to me during my doctor's visit. He continuously gets educational workshop trainings to get updated information about new services, technology, different types of medication. He not only prescribes medication, but makes sure I have my blood test checked regularly.

His idea of therapy was to yell at me when I reported a mood change and tell me I was like the glass half empty. He was always late and then ended my appointment after 10 or 15 minutes because he said he had another patient waiting. He didn’t answer the pharmacy’s messages about refilling my meds, his mailbox was full and he doesn’t have an office with staff. You have to leave a message and the bookkeeper will return the call within 24 hours. He was condescending to me and he didn’t fill out the paperwork my employer needed when I was on disability.

Doctor Luther is knowledgeable but subtle in his approach. I felt welcomed in his office and trusted his competency as a doctor. After being in his care for approx a year, I have to say that he listened and responded to my needs in a professional way. There is a warmth about him that makes me feel comfortable. If you’re looking for someone that is gragerious, you won’t find it here but if you’re looking for help with someone who has experience, Doctor Luther is where you want to be!

He is just better! I've been to a handful. Years of experience. Easy to work with. Knows how to work with people and address your issues quickly but with compation. Hard to get to be able to see him, but once you do.. You soon learn what an expert in his field does.
