Dr. Lee
Last year I saw Dr. Lee for a yearly eye exam. During the exam she became concerned and wanted me to see a cardiologist immediately, which I did. Dr. Lee thought I may have some blockage or a problem with my heart. The cardiologist found nothing! A week later I had a severe heart attack. I am very grateful to Dr. Lee for giving me a warning for a heart problem. When I started to have symptoms I wisely called 911 and got to the hospital immediately. They put a stent in and found I had additional blockage that required open heart surgery. I never thought going for a routine eye exam would reveal possible heart problems but am very thankful for Dr. Lee being able to warn me of an impending situation. She is truly brilliant!

My appointment was for 4:30....I waited 45 minutes. Get seen by the Surgical Coordinator for Lasik. She dilates my eyes and says the Dr. will be in shortly. 45 Minutes later I walk out. No one ever checked on me or explained the delay. Eyes dilated and staring at the wall. 10 minutes after I leave....they call to apologize for the wait....today. TODAY??? It's ALL the time. NO RESPECT for peoples time. They call again the next morning to apologize yet again. I said I can't believe Paul makes you call to apologize for him. Complete waste of time. If I had a Nickle for all the times I heard "Sorry for the Wait" to all the other patients I could pay for Lasik with a different doctor. If you value your time and want to be respected go to a different practice. All the Paul Phillips offices are terrible.

I had an appointment scheduled at the Bridgewater office, waited 50 minutes and left... Never saw a doctor, front desk staff rude and unconcerned as to reason for long wait time. I was blamed for being 10 minutes late. Fortunately when I returned to their web sight I found that I was scheduled see an optometrist. I went there for cataracts. Not glassed! Which I said when making the appointment! My husband and I will not be returning to this disorganized practice.

I waited in the Clinton office for over 45 minutes and never actually saw the doctor. No apology or explanation from anyone there. The front desk staff was rude and I will be looking immediately for another doctor.

Used the Clinton Office. Staff were very good at greeting and getting you prepared for the actual exam. Wait was a bit long to see the doctor. Most of the work is done by the technician with Dr. Phillips doing the last part. Dr.P. was rude to me in front of his staff chastising me for using readers. Yeesh! Then, half blind from the drops, he personally shepherds me to the glasses salesman. Worst part? The bill - almost $400 for an eye exam? Watch your pockets new patients!

I agree the front desk staff could use some help in terms of being more welcoming but the doctor is great, I highly recommend him. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their everyday lives - not just medical needs. He also did a good job trying to explain some of the eye terms to me. After Dr. Phillips did my surgery he called and checked up on me and made sure I didn't need anything. If I did need anything I know he would have met me at his office regardless of the time.

I would recommend the Doctor, very thorough. I have a problem with the staff. very rude! the girl at the desk; sue is very rude and should not be at the front desk. I overlooked her attitude due to the Doctor experience I received. Since this office takes my insurance, I know a lot of people who go there and the experience is the same. I wish more people would speak up! we are all looking to go elsewhere!
