My surgery experience
I was referred to Dr. Pickering by my gynecologist, he called me right away within 2 days after being referred to him, he was very nice, kind and patient with me he explained my issue and the reasons for it as well as my treatment and I had so many questions and kept him on the phone for a while and he patiently answered every single question, I told him I trusted him to take the next steps to get ready for my surgery and now I had my surgery already, I had the best experience and treatment before and after surgery, everyone was so nice and caring I am blessed I had the team I had! I am very grateful for Dr. Pickering

Dr. Pickering rushed through my preop without explaining much to me at all even though he knew I didn't understand why my surgery was being done the way it was. He talked to me like I was a child. When I brought up a valid concern, he told me he could "talk to me during the surgery". Then it turned out the spinal wasn't fully effective for me so I was in a ton of pain during the surgery so obviously talking wasn't an option. It was bad care plain and simple. I wouldn't recommend him unless you like being patronized and have blind faith in doctors.

I saw Dr. Pickering as the partner to Dr. Stewart. He was so kind and went out of his way to pull the portable ultrasound out yo put my mind at ease about my pregnancy. I will definitely recommend him to anyone!

Being a woman I’ve seen many obgyns over the years..I see someone in his office but saw him to get in quick, he is the nicest doctor ever! He went totally out of his way to make me feel comfortable in a setting that is so awkward as we all know. I’m beyond impressed and honestly I love my doctor but I will probably switch to him after my experience. He was so polite and accommodating to me. He asked if it was okay before he did anything to me, it was so great. I would definitely recommend him!

Absolutely the best experience I have ever encounter with any doctor EVER. He has a way of just making you feel welcome and comfortable in even the most awkward situations. He made me feel heard and understood without judgement. Wether he thought I crazy or not he didn't show it and I truly appreciated that.
