I have been fortunate to have Dr.Roa treat me for my chronic lower back pain. I’ve been his patient for over five years,and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is need of a good physician whose concern is his patient first. I had a problem with the pharmacy on my last visit and Monica,a staff member,went over and above her call of duty to immediately solve my problem. Thank you Dr. Roa and Staff!! If you live with pain every day as I do, Paul Roa is an amazing doctor who listens and actually cares. Has helped me with a constant evolving string of problems. I’ve been dealing with constant pain for more than 20 years and he’s truly helped me more than anyone!

When I first went to see him, my pain was so bad I could hardly walk with a cane, I had several back treatments and my pain is gone, unless I over do, I can walk again. Dr Roa is very understanding and he listens to me, I strongly recommend him!

Brilliant, professional, compassionate a are but a few words to describe Dr.Roa. He always takes the time to listen. He is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up on all current treatments. I am a very complicated case and have been his patient for over six years. I have been very challenging as a patient because I have several very complicated issues. He is always caring and concerned to help me and always thinks outside of the box to come up with a treatment plan to help me. And I must say they absolutely work every time. I have had a plethora of treatments with him and have never had any complications. I have received the best care with wonderful outcomes every time. As far as his staff, they are absolutely stellar. They are always very kind professional and compassionate and understanding. I consider it a privilege to be his patient.

Dr. Roa is an amazing doctor! I was feeling a terrible pain on my back and right arm for over 5 months and none of the doctors I visited could fix the problem. Thank God I was referred to Dr. Roa, he told me I had 2 cervical hernias and put me a shot and I don’t feel that horrible pain anymore. I am very thankful with Dr. Roa! Besides he also speaks Spanish which is my first language. I highly recommend Dr. Roa, he is the BEST!

GIFTED and BRILLIANT. Caring and compassionate about all of his patients. He treats his patients as if they are his own family members he cares that much. I am a very hard case very difficult to manage. I can honestly say I would be in a wheelchair if it was not for Dr Roa always trying to help coming up with different treatment options to afford me mobility. He listens to his patients and really truly cares. I am so blessed to have beautiful person and the doctor he really cares about me. He is a godsend and I am deeply grateful to be his patient.

Although I'm fairly new to Florida Spine and Pain Center and Dr. Roa, I must say that this doctor is unlike most. Dr. Roa takes the time to listen!! When he asks a question, he makes eye contact until I'm finished answering his question (s). Dr. Roa is into finding the solution rather than just staying in the problem. I am so grateful to have found such a caring, educated, and professional doctor.

I had an appointment with Dr. Roa on May18, 2021. I waited for 1 hour and ten minutes pass my appointment time before I was called in by an aid who spend more time with me asking questions that I've already answered in the forms they provided (don't they read the forms first before seeing patients?). When I got to see Dr. Roa, he appeared to be in a rush and I got to see him no more than two minutes to ask me about my epidural experience. I mention that my previous doctor suggested an RF (radio frequency ablation), he suggested a lidocaine shot before doing RF and he offered to do that same day, then he left rather quickly. I didn't get to ask the questions I really came to see him for that I'm interested in getting a stem cell and to ask him why my previous treatments did not work and what is his suggestions. In my disappointment, I left without getting the lidocaine shots. Long wait, lack of interest and lack of time spent by the doctor is my experience from this office.

I'm passionate about what I do... I build things, I dance and sing with my guitar on a 2-hour set, I do my car's body and mechanical work, I drive Uber. Dr. Roa is passionate about what he does, which includes keeping me out of pain doing the things that I listed above. He is a compassionate, highly-skilled practitioner in a field where so many are simply building wealth. Maybe I'm in the late 60's, but I'm living large as if in my late 30's thanks to the amazing care and attention that I have been enjoying at the hands and heart of Dr. Paul Roa!
