I had a rhinoplasty done with Dr. Ruff to correct a deviated septum and enhance aesthetics. For one year, Dr. Ruff acted as if everything was fine. After one year, he admitted my nose needed revision and offered to do a tip plasty to improve appearance. I obtained second, third, and fourth opinions and none of the surgeons recommended the course of action Dr. Ruff had suggested. In fact, they all told me I need a revision surgery since I now have bilateral nasal valve collapse, still have a deviated septum, and have a very weak nasal structure. Based on my experience (Dr. Ruff's words and actions), I found him to be a terrible surgeon who lacks transparency and a genuine concern for his patient's well-being.

Last year I decided to do an areola reduction surgery with Dr. Ruff at the West End Plastic Surgery, and I regret the decision until today. My areolas have an uneven shape and excessive scar tissue. For the last year, I was not able to live a normal life or show my breast to anyone. Right after the surgery last fall, I experienced excessive bleeding in my right breast, and my areola turned dark blue. Several weeks after the surgery, Dr. Ruff told me to wear clear patches in the area to eliminate scarring, which I did. I have had several follow-ups throughout the year but saw no improvement in my condition. A year after the surgery, Dr. Ruff saw the unsatisfactory results and agree to do the same procedure at no cost. At this point, I do not have trust in him and will not undergo the same procedure. I believe it should have been done right the first time, but now I have to leave with uneven breasts covered in huge scars. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see myself naked.

I wish I never met Dr. Ruff. My breast lift and fat transfer failed. Still I have one breast smaller than the other. $12,000 later, I Now have pear shaped breast that are still dropping. BTW, my friend paid $6000 somewhere else and she has perfect round lifted breast. I lost! Dr. Ruff won...$12,000 richer.

Lipo in abdomen left me 2 years now with a daily bloat and ache that never goes away. My abdomen looks deformed. I wish I had my old abs back. I looked better before I met Dr. Ruff.

The best plastic surgeon in Washington, DC! Dr. Ruff had an exceptional bedside manner, explained my procedure to me in great detail and answered all of my questions. The office is very clean, chic and extremely friendly. Most importantly, I got amazing results after my surgery! 10/10 would recommend!

I have found it difficult to find practitioner's that LISTEN anymore. I had been to every major derm in the D.C. area trying to cure 20 years of adult acne. Just by listening, Dr. Ruff treated what no one else had ever suggested! Meanwhile, I've lost thousands on creams and procedures and had low self-esteem. Just a nice guy, super small and just really keen to what is important to his patients. Grateful to have discovered him!

I have had numerous procedures done by Dr. Ruff. Results are amazing. Cannot say enough good things about him and his O.R. staff. Not to mention he is a caring person and feel like he is extended family. Would not go to anyone else, especially for Botox after having superior results with him for years and 2 bad Botox experiences with several well known plastic surgeons in the DC area. Five stars!!

I am a new client at West End Plastic Surgery and could not be happier with the services I have had, or with the practice in general! I've now had 4 sessions of micro-needling (what a difference in my skin!) as well as a wee bit of filler in my lips and cheeks. Everyone in the office was polite, professional, and knowledgeable, and I never had to wait! They are going through a major renovation as a result of a flood, so I can't say that the office looked great...yet! I highly recommend Dr. Ruff

Went to Dr. Paul ruff initially for facial fillers and off topic just briefly talked about my pooch. He told me he could take my pooch away with HD Lipo and give me more defined abs. I told him I was worried about lumps and bumps and he assured me that wouldn't be an issue. I went ahead and did the procedure, 10K later with lumps and bumps and weird body contours I haven't taken my shirt off in public for two years now. I learned my lesson. If your already fit just be happy w/what you have.
