Dr. Paul Schwerdt, MD

I first met Dr. Schwerdt at the Norwood ER in 2006. He saved my life then, and again in 2015. He's both a good cardiologist and a really nice guy. He sees me a few times each year and it's always a pleasure. Well, almost always .... I'm not fond of the occasional treadmill ordeal.

Knowledgeable, easy going and clearly articulates the diagnosis and treatment options with confidence. His self assured style makes patients feel they are in good hands. I have been a patient for 5 years and have received excellent care and Dr Schwerdt has made me feel confident that my issues are curative. Highly recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwerdt for 7 years, I have found him to be an exceptional healer and communicator. He listens well, and I have never felt rushed. Also, of note is his office is extraordinary. They are all very responsive and caring. I highly recommend him and the practice.

Dr. Schwerdt has been my cardiologist for 13 plus years. I met him for the first time in March of 2007 in the ER @ Norwood as I had a minor M-I...if there is such a thing. He is wonderful and caring. Very personable and talks to you like a friend would talk to you; frank but respectful and no doctor double talk or condescending talking to you. I HIGHLY recommend him to all. You will like him and trust him immediately when you meet him and you are very good hands. He cares, he takes as much time as the patient needs, and he's a good person. What else could ask for in a cardiologist? Oh, just for the record he placed a stent in my artery 2 days ago so I have quite a bit of experience with him over the past thirteen years!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who needs care. After the nurse pointed out an anomaly in my test the doctor agreed and said it was weird but I should just come back in 6 months. When symptoms persisted and got worse I called to go back in and they refused. He said it wasn't heart related and to go back to my primary.
