A long-overdue thank-you
I was incredibly fortunate to be referred to Dr. Tucker in 2018 when I had a quintuple bypass. Until the day before my operation, I had had no inkling at all that I had heart problems. Thank God my PCP took my chest pains seriously and sent me to Dr. Tucker--who not only made room in his schedule to see me immediately but arranged a bypass within 2 days. Since then, he has provided consummate professional care; and my health has been excellent. He is extremely busy, with little time for personal interchanges with patients But he is so good a doctor I knew I wanted to his help in finding a neurosurgeon for a later emergency. He not only found me a neurosurgeon I trusted but personally intervened to get me an immediate appointment. As soon as I met the neurosurgeon, I knew I was right in thinking that good doctors know who other good doctors are. I am very grateful for those, like Dr. Tucker, who go out of their way to share their knowledge with patients.

Listened to my concerns about adhesive reaction to my skin and said he was looking in to changing the patch (groin). Very willing to spend time and not making me feel rushed at all, on all office visits, in person or telemed.

Dr. Tucker and his staff have really done a lot to extend my husband’s life over the last few years. Especially love how we get fast and helpful answers through the My Chart Program from his office. Mari, his nurse takes care of things proficiently, timely and compassionately and is always supportive of our concerns. Dr. Tucker is very competent and knowledgeable and always makes sure he has answered all our questions before we leave.

I recently had a scheduled follow up visit with Dr. Tucker. We was very friendly, thorough and genuinely interested in my welfare. Asked me about any concerns or issues that may have come up since my last scheduled visit. Informed him that due to covid 19 I had not exercised as I should have. We both agreed that I need to exercise by using the internet to find some exercise videos. Looked at my recent blood work and that there was nothing that stood out. Recommended a follow up visit in 6 months.
