Comprehensive, spent time, solved the problem. Not much else to say besides that. Dr. Vessa is very knowledgable and fixed what others couldn't for my back issues.

Dr Vespa and his office are running a total scam. He charges whatever he feels like and when his office says they’ll accept your medical insurance make sure you get in writing that any remaining balance not paid to him by your provider is not your responsibility he’s during me right now for just this circumstance. Be careful and do your homework

doctor vessa is a good doctor but he is running a total scam with his billing department i had good insurance and was told that my insurance would pay for everything only to receive a bill for 70000 dollars a year after surgery. get everything in writing upfront as well as billing people you are speaking with before you agree to anything

My experience with Dr. Vessa was excellent. He took the time to explain his diagnosis and recommendations across several visits, understood my decision to seek a second opinion before surgery, and was very open about the risks involved and expected recovery time for surgery. The surgery was successful and without complication, and my rehabilitation was smooth. The staff was also very knowledgeable, caring, and proactive in explaining the costs involved. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Vessa and the practice.

I had been experiencing pain down the left side of my leg for almost two months. I was working with another DR, going through physical therapy, an injection with no relief. When I went to see Dr. Vessa I felt like he and his staff listened to what I was saying and acknowledged how much pain I was in. After reviewing my MRI and conducting some basic tests/analysis he recommended surgery to relieve the pressure on the nerve from my herniated disc. He was able to squeeze me in at 7 am the next day and assured me the pain would be gone. When I woke up after the surgery, the shooting pain in my leg was gone. The entire experience from my first conversation on the phone with them to the follow up visits after the surgery was a positive experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vessa and his staff to anyone with back pain/sciatica looking for relief.

I was having horrible pain from a herniated disc that was pressing against the root nerve running down my right leg. After PT and medication provided no relief, Dr. Vessa and his staff were able to secure the pre-authorizations needed for an MRI and XRay in his office building for the very next day. Upon review of the films and the determination that additional PT, medication, or injections would be an ineffective solution, we opted for surgery the following day, only 2 days after initially meeting with him. He assured me the pain would be gone immediately after surgery and he was 100% correct. After about 2 months of supervised PT and time to heal, I am now without the unbearable pain I had been experiencing. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable and caring and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend him to anyone in need of his expertise.

My husband has been treated by Dr. Vessa. He attempted quite a few options before coming to the determination that surgery is the best option. He is always personable and professional. He did an excellent job explaining each test/procedure, the reason for it and the hoped for outcome. I never felt rushed or as if my questions were invalid. Dr. Vessa’s staff is amazing. His Nurse’s are compassionate and diligent at recording details of your progress so when Dr. Vessa sees you, you’re not repeating yourself. His front office staff is friendly and welcoming. They are organized and very quick to respond with any information you may need. I would highly recommend Dr. Vessa and his staff.

Every aspect of our care was considered by him and his incredible staff, and they advocate for their patients with unending patience. DO NOT agree to any procedure until you get a cost work-up. Vessa runs such a scam it's ridiculous. 2 epidural injections cost over 16,000 for his services alone. Add that he "only performs injections under anaesthesia". They tell you up front that ins. will not cover this but they provide you with a letter to "argue for your rights". Anaesthesia was $3000 per injection. And the last part - he only does injections at an ambulatory center. Another $4000/inj.. So $30,000 total! Criminal.

Dr. Paul Vessa did the fusion of my L5S1 in October of 1995 and it's still doing well today, nearly 21 years later! Thank You Dr. Vessa and Staff!! Now if only you could do the same for my neck, although I live in NC these days.

Dr. Vessa thoroughly, thoughtfully, and with expertise; considered all aspects of my condition. I had suffered years with other specialists various treatments. He worked with me before he helped me decide it was time to have surgery. Everyone told me don't go to a surgeon they will immediately want to operate. That was not the case. He treated me as if he really cared He made me feel special and I am so fortunate. There is nobody like Dr. Vessa.
