Dr. Atkin is the first doctor who has really HEARD me after years of suffering. I’m very hopeful for my future in her hands. She’s understanding, compassionate, thorough, and will offer you different options to help you. She is gem.

Dr. Akin has been kind, compassionate and informative throughout my care with her. I presented to Dr. Akin with difficulty conceiving, and she took my concerns seriously when other providers dismissed me. Dr. Akin quickly found the believed source of my problems, and she performed a complicated fertility-sparing surgery with skill and grace. If you want a doctor who listens to you and truly cares about your health, I highly recommend Dr. Akin.

Dr Akin was the worst OB I have ever encountered! She is dismissive, pushy, and rude. I would not recommend her. Dr. Akin is not interested in having an intellectual conversation with her patients about their health concerns, because no patient could possibly be educated about their condition. She is very pushy with IUD's. I could not in good conscience, recommend this doctor.
