I've been seeing Dr. Jalynytchev regularly for about a year and a half now for my mood disorders and I would recommend him to others without a doubt. He's very compassionate and knowledgable. I've had to change medications a few times and he always patiently explains the new medication and is really responsive if I end up having issues or need to adjust. He's very timely too, never late and appointments are usually pretty short. Despite the short appointments I never feel rushed, he just tends to get to the point quickly so we don't usually need that much time together.

Very disappointing and heartbreaking experiences. He is the head doctor over other doctors and he refuses to listen. He twists round your concerns and makes you feel as if you are incompetent to be expressing your needs. Also was charged the wrong amount a bunch of times. They decided to not be part of my insurance for the month of April so I have one charge that is absurd for a 30 min visit. When I decided I wanted off meds to start on a clean state and work our way there he got rude and snappy. I have walked out of the office crying plenty of times. It was a year of feeling frustration and pain. My new doctor listens and there is unbelievable improvement

I met Dr. J in November 2016 while I was in the emergency room- I suffered from major panic attacks. He took me on as his patient, and I haven’t had a panic attack since April 2017! He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, kind hearted, and genuinely cares about my well-being. I tell him at every appointment that he’s my hero. He’s very humble too. In July 2018, I moved 58 miles away, and I still drive to Brighton to see him. Dr. J is the BEST!

I have seen many psychiatrists in the past, and I have never received such compassionate care as I did with Dr. J. He spent over an hour with me during my initial intake gathering a history and trying to understand my concerns from a personable place. Furthermore, he didn't just prescribe me the medications he thought would best fit. Instead, he gave me options, and explained each medication in detail, and encouraged me to be an active participant in my treatment.
