Dr. Klein is excellent!
I have been a patient of Dr. Klein for over 25 years. Dr. Klein listens to his patients - their concerns, suggestions, and questions, with an open mind. For several years, before I became Dr. Klein's patient, I told other neurologists what I thought was triggering many, if not most, of my epileptic seizures, to no avail. Dr. Klein listened to me, and acknowledged the possibility that I was correct. He monitored my epilepsy and changes in prescription medications until the appropriate treatment was found to eliminate my seizures. His staff is pleasant and helpful, also.

Dr. Pavel Klein, M.D.--a patient's review
I have been seeing Dr. Klein, M.D., for years. He scheduled me for a sleep study at the outset, and, based on that, assessed my sleep disorders. He has prescribed appropriate medication treatment, adjusting the medication as my needs and age changed. Currently, I think that everything is going quite well with his treatment of me. I could not be more pleased, to include his accommodation of me via telehealth appointments at times, given now my more distant commuting location. But I see him in person, too. He provides comprehensive patient visit summaries for me, which I find helpful in reviewing. His staff is wonderful and very helpful in patient intake; scheduling; and assistance with sending in prescriptions on his behalf to my local pharmacy.

Good doc with superior staff support.
Dr. Klein is first rate, but I want to comment on the office staff. Staff have a lot to do with the doctor visit experience. The staff in this practice are all pre-med students, signed on for a gap year after college to get clinical experience. They help with interviews and charting as well as the usual front office paperwork. They stand out for being smart, knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. I've never seen this staffing model in a medical office before, but in this practice it's a noticeable added-value asset. Working with them, you just get the feeling everything is going to be done right..and it is.

Do not recommend this doctor
This doctor was recommended to me by another retiring Neurologist, but he did very little besides take notes and refused to fill out my work accommodation paperwork even though he filled it out last year. The office staff is extremely rude and cannot follow simple instructions in an email. I do not recommend this doctor!

My daughter has been in the care of Dr. Klein for five years - ever since she "matriculated" from Children's Hospital. Since then, we have accrued a debt of gratitude that we will never be able to repay. My daughter was having break-through seizures in clusters of up to five a day. We had tried a lot of different meds. They would all work for a year or two, then gradually lose effectiveness. Side effects, too. Even under the best neurological care in the region, my daughter was never reliably seizure free; a fact that heavily influenced her psychological well-being and educational and other opportunities. Things began to change for my daughter the minute we began seeing Dr. Klein, who placed us in a study for a new drug called XCOPRI. Miraculous! Seizure free. Now lives on her own and has a job! Dr Klein and his staff are ALWAYS available to talk by phone or if needed in person. I have reached him at his home twice - once after 11 pm (sorry, again, Doc). He is the best!

I go with my mom to all her appointments. I’ve been to plenty of doctors with her. Dr. Klein is the first doctor to make her and I feel safe. He shows he cares about her and all his patients. Everyone in the building is always so nice and we love seeing them.

I was diagnosed with post-traumatic epilepsy three years after 1973 car accident (while student at Yale) and was treated for seizure disorders at universities|research hospitals for decades following. No longer in academia, I found Dr. Klein in 2013 and he has been my neurologist ever since. I recommend Dr. Klein very highly.

Staff did not send referrals out for sleep study resulting in months of waiting for slot at study facility. Results not sent to physician who made referral to Dr. Klein. Dr. Klein did not go over 9/27/19 MRI results during 12/31/19 visit. Six months later got MRI results that required follow-up CT scan due to changes in brain tissue. Confronted doctor who got really quiet. Don't know whether it is the staff or the doctor that is the problem. I am looking for new neurologist.

Dr. Pavel Klein has enriched my life. I have dealt with insomnia for a long time. Finally, in desperation, I made an appointment with Dr. Klein. I am so grateful I did. Everyone on his staff was professional and welcoming. It seemed that his entire staff loved their work and took pride in providing excellent service. Dr. Klein's diagnostic procedure was thorough: a detailed intake interview, two supervised sleep studies and several consultations. The result has been nine months of restful sleep! I absolutely recommend Dr. Klein to anyone suffering from insomnia.

I have been taking my two sons to Dr. Klein for years. He is a caring doctor who listens to his patients as well as the parents and takes the time to make sure he has answered all of our questions. I've never felt rushed and have always been confident in the care my boys have received. We've seen him for routine and urgent matters and we never wait long before being seen. The staff is excellent! He sees kids and adults which is a real plus.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. When I came to him for help diagnosing my symptoms, he told me to do nothing and just stop having seizure like involuntary muscle spasms. I do not have epilepsy, but years later I now have a confirmed diagnosis of a rare genetic disorder. He treated me as though I were deliberately faking my symptoms at a time when I was suffering greatly. Because of him, I spent years questioning my sanity and delaying proper diagnosis and treatment. Totally irresponsible.

Dr. Pavel Klein was the most helpful specialist who discovered the cause of my stroke-like episodes. After 3 years of specialists and ER visits, and several hospitalizations, Dr. Klein prescribed a 72 hours CVEEG monitoring at home. From this test, he uncovered the cause of my dizziness, nausea, emesis, and took the initiative to recommend a treatment plan to my PCP. This plan worked well and I can't thank enough to Dr. Klein and his team, for freeing me from those awful, recurring episodes.

Refused to listen to symptoms of my condition and dismissed everything as 'you shouldn't worry' and 'everything is normal.' This after I had a presented a detailed log disputing his position and diagnosis. His hubris is unbelievable. Don't waste your time with this guy. You'll end up spending a ton and come away no better.

I highly recommend Dr. Klein. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring. I had been suffering from migraines and insomnia for 20+ yrs. Both conditions had been getting progressively worse: migraines every day and rarely slept all night. Another Dr prescribed Ambien but the side effects were terrible (memory loss, etc). After spending considerable time with me and asking lots of questions, he prescribed one medication. My results: I sleep 8-9 hrs every night & I get far fewer migraines.
