Dr. Pavlos Kymissis, MD

Dr. Kymissis took care of a sick relative in the 1980s when they got sick after their brother committed suicide. He diagnosed this person as bipolar, when, as a later doctor wrote, she was at times depressed, due to external factors, like what she had gone through as a child in World War II, her brother's suicide, and a loving, yet jealous and dominating, controlling sister. I never saw his patient being manic. People have diff personalities. He recommended Lithium, a strong drug, to her and she was on it for decades. I don't think he EVER SUGGESTED THERAPY TO HER, EVEN THOUGH HIS WIFE IS A THERAPIST WITH A Ph.D. His wife ended up on a Bible study Zoom with me, so a. She doesn't know 100% what she is doing, and b. It comes down to your relationship with yourself and God.I don think he ever asked his patient how her married life was; how her job and income was; what she wanted to do for work; where her accumulating income, if any is, and what she will do with it; and more basics.

He asked me, a MINOR, what kind of p*rn I watched and how lesbians had s*x including making vulgar gestures with his tongue and hands for me to demonstrate to him, persistently until I answered his questions. I was closeted at the time and couldn't tell my family about the things this PRDATOR was asking me about. I cannot stress enough that there is no good reason this man should be offering psychiatric aid to children in crisis. Had I not been the strong person that I am, I would have taken my life in the care of this man and not been here as an adult now brave enough to discuss how SICK this p*rvert is. KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE AND AWAY FROM HIM. You can see his other reviews online mention that he is very "religious." I'm sure I wasn't the only kid he's had these weird type of discussions with. SHAME ON YOU DR. KYMISSIS.

I’ve been seeing dr Kymissis for about 4 yrs now. He’s really helped with my anxiety and getting a hold of the issues with my anxiety and I’ve made so much progress under his care. He is also very religious and is good at answering and explaining any concerns or questions you may have. Don’t be ashamed to get help if you need it. He is there to help you all doctors are.
