Rude, unreasonable, lacks social skills
I couldn’t finish a sentence with this man. I was asked questions and then not given time to answer them without being interrupted time and time again. I finally gave up, there was no point in continuing to try and be an individual patient rather than just a statistic. He does not care the way he should. Do no harm also means listen to your patients concerns because you’re going to miss something if you haven’t already! I’ll be finding someone else..

Horrible
If you have a choice do not allow this so called doctor to perform any kind of service on you. I unfortunately did not have that liberty. He comes into the exam room and comes towards me with a closed fist!!! He would not allow me to speak at all. He kept cutting me off and telling me to listen to him. His was very condescending and arrogant. Perhaps because I am a female he thought he could treat me as a 2nd class citizen. I waited 2 months for an appt to have a peg tube he inserted removed and when I arrived I was told it was a consultation only!!!! Needless to say sahu refused to remove it. I have not used this thing since leaving the hospital. It is hanging down to my knees!! His suggestion was to shorten the tube, not remove it. Perhaps he wanted to bill my insurance for another visit. Do not trust him! I did not have a choice when this tube was inserted but you do. Find yourself a reputable compassionate DOCTOR!!!He should not even be your last choice or practice medicine at all!

Could not get a return phone call
I didn't have a visit since I couldn't get anyone to return my message. I was told by my primary to get a colonoscopy and given several recommended practices - Dr. Sahu being one of them. After getting through an absurdly long voicemail process telling me what I should and should not include in my message, I left one. And never heard back. Their outbound message also says to not call back to leave them another message. I guess they have all the business they can handle.

Although I have no doubt Dr. Sahu is a very knowledgeable and well practiced gastroenterologist, I feel he struggles to LISTEN to a patient’s chief complaint and history of present illness. As a licensed provider, I believe respectfully listening to your patients’ carefully without interruption or pre-conceived notions in an empathetic and unbiased manner increases the chances of identifying and subsequently treating underlying disease processes/pathologies. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There is no likelihood that I would ever recommend Dr. Sahu or anyone else who works in that office to anyone. After having countless communication difficulties with his office including results to a colonoscopy a few years ago, I decided to use another doctor. I have been unable to get my medical records even though I told them that I have a growth in my intestines. They actually told me that they have thirty days to release them.
