Dr. Pearl Serota, MD

I have entrusted my daughter’s care to Dr. Pearl Serota for approximately eight years or more. While we’ve encountered occasional challenges because we did not see eye to eye, we communicated and worked through those challenges. Dr. Serota has consistently been a reliable source of support for my family. She provides thoughtful, logical diagnoses and takes the time to explain her recommendations and reasoning in a clear and understandable way. If we ever disagree or don’t see eye to eye on on a topic, Dr. Serota listens attentively to my perspective and ensures that we have an open, constructive conversation. I highly recommend Dr. Serota for her expertise, compassionate approach, and her ability to navigate difficult discussions with children and parents. Her knowledge and dedication makes her an invaluable resource. We feel truly fortunate to have her as the psychiatrist overseeing my daughter’s mental health care. We would be lost without her guidance and support.

I wish I could leave a zero she is the absolute worst doctor. Shamed people and hurt my sons care. Medicine given when it shouldn’t have. She should have her license taken away

Dr Serota has been great with my daughter. She listened, asked the right questions and new right away how to help her. We have been seeing her for a year and a half and couldn't be happier.

Dr. Pearl Serinta is N O T your psychiatrist.are looking for a psychiatrist to listen to and support, provide help and advocate for your family and child. She does take time out to understand but ishe offers quick JUDGEMENTand SHAME. You leave her office feeling like you are not being supported as a parents and you are discouraged and defeated by her, when you actually camer for help and support. She doesn't offer empathy or support to parents. She is more focused on entering data into her computer than focusing on the clients during the appointment time. It's like she has to go down the check list in order, as according to her computer application to take psychiatrist notes., not leaving much for one on one, real time communicating to understand families or a child. I do not recommend her if you are looking for support.

No consideration for patient needs. Cancels appointments booked months in advance at 2-3 days notice; unable to get another for weeks/months out. Requested call back from office manager. No call back from anyone. Spends entire appointment typing on keyboard.

horrible. both appointments have been "rushed" after months of giving the medicine that SHE prescribed, she told us we were giving it to our son at the wrong times, while we were not told WHEN to give it, nor did the bottle tell us specific times. currrently looking for a new Dr.
