Dr. Pedro Chan, DO

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Pedro Chan for over 30 years. He has been a rock to hold on during challenging health-care crisis. Dr. Chan has been an angel helping us navigate the health care system when we have been most vulnerable. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, compassionate and a great listener. Dr. Chan is very detailed, he reviews my chart to ensure I have appropriate screening procedures, vaccines and labs done as indicated. He always explains procedures and medications adverse effects. He has always answered my questions in detail lay language. He has never hesitated to refer my family for second opinions, when necessary. Dr. Chan has always been readily available in emergencies; even after hours. It is easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Chan; although, he is very busy. His office staff is very friendly and professional. I am grateful to Dr. Chan for the exceptional and compassionate care he has provided to my family and I throughout the years.

He has been taking care of me and my family for over 10 years. Always have an opening for emergency need, his stuff, and the team are also very professional!

I have been a patient of Dr.Pedro Chan for over 8 years.Just what a wonderful caring person he is.He will stay and talk with you of your health problems or results of any tests as long you need to.If it’s an emergency to get in to see him you’ll get seen ASAP.The staff is awesome and so friendly and treat you with the upmost respect as well as Dr. Chan..I highly recommend him whole heartedly.I love him as my doctor.Whenever the day comes that I have to leave I’m sure going to miss him.He is one of the best and you don’t find many doctors like this man right here.Kudos to you Dr.Pedro Chan

Dr. Chan requires an office visit to renew prescriptions. I think it is a way for him to get money from client and insurance company. He prescribed me meds. When I needed to renew, he wouldn't do it without an office visit first, even though he knew I had asemia and needed the inhaler.

If you like waiting in the waiting room for at least an hour after your appointment time, and then another half hour in an exam room for the doctor to see you....then not remember one single thing from the times you have seen him before....and a doctor who orders tests such as blood work and then NEVER EVER calls you with the results...Pedro Chan is the man for you. Me, I'm going elsewhere. I truly believe Dr. Chan gets kick backs from Labcorp.

My mother have been seeing him for the past 4 years. She live in Kissimmee, and she drives an hour to see him because he can speak Chinese to her so she understands. But he always takes 1 to 2 hours longer than the appointment time. My mother always complained about Dr. Chan's impatience and told her to leave without proper diagnosis. It is really upsetting that she spends two hours on the road without good service.

This doctor is the doctor with the worst medical ethics, no professional ethics, just want to make more money from patients

The process of getting medication and getting a refill is stressful. I have to call the office to request the medication, then I am told that I have to check with the pharmacy after their office is closed. Then of course when you check with the pharmacy, there is nothing. Repeat this process again.

This place is great if you enjoy waiting an hour for an appointment that would take 5 minutes! A little cherry on top is listening to the front desk girls talk about personal stuff instead of helping you

This physician is horrible. Never choose him for any reason. He likes to insult his patients and has a very rude staff.

Dr. Pedro Chan do not care about his patients, all he cares about is the getting paid. He files the wrong claims with the insurance company to get paid more. His staff is rude and obnoxious to patients and is not very helpful. They don't know their jobs well and Dr. Chan encourages this behavior by his staff. He prescribes the wrong medicine to patients. Appointments are always long over an hour wait to see him even with an appointment. I would not recommend going to this doctor.
