He tried between 8-10 times to insert a spinal anesthesia and failed. He states he will do a “general” anesthesia which I had told my surgeon and the anesthesiologist that I spoke with that morning that I did not want. If I had not spoken up that point, a general would have been administered. My surgeon hearing my protest and knowing my reasons, called in another anesthesiologist who performed the spinal with 1 or 2 tries. I was very displeased that the hospital “substituted” Dr. Guevara for the anesthesiologist who knew my reasons for not having a “general”
