Goes Above and Beyond
I have been searching for a dermatologist for a while. I finally found a great doctor. Dr Hunter is takes her time and very thorough. Which was a good thing for me. What I thought was a freckle ended up being Melanoma. It was caught early, thanks to Dr Hunter.The worst part of my experience is as of the end of this month P.B. Dermatology will not be accepting my insurance. If your insurance is taken here, I HIGHLY recommend Dr Hunter. You will not find a more caring doctor.

Dr Hunter rushes and does not explain.
I went there just now to have something removed. The front office was very sweet. Her nurse or whatever her qualifications are has an attitude. She resented that I requested that the chair being dried off form the cleaning solution. She finally used a paper towel to dry it and when I asked for a second paper towel, she refused. And WHY did the assistant and not the doctor cauterize the wound? Dr. Hunter rushes and does not explain. Also, this was my second visit. This time, I received no instructions packet with the bandaids, and vaseline packets. I had to go back and ask for the Vaseline. I have never ever experienced such a rushed doctor’s visit. I will not return or recommend this practice. I hope that it does not leave a scar in this visible area.

Excellent.
Dr Hunter is an excellent dermatologist. I’ve been using her for years. She is extremely thorough and catches anything that isn’t right. I recommend her highly.

Disappointed
I’ve been a patient for many years. My late son was also a patient. I had to cancel my last appointment for full Body scan due to the passing of my wife and then I had pneumonia. I called today to get an appointment. I was told that it would be in late January of 2023. That’s almost 5 months. RIDICULOUS! Hopefully I don’t have a serious cancer

I've been seeing Dr Hunter for more than 4 years. She does a thorough exan at every visit and her treatment recommendations have always been spot on.

Knows her stuff. Dr Hunter is a great diagnostician who knows when to do biopsies and when not to. Unlike some dermatologists, Dr Hunter won't do needless procedures. On the other hand, she correctly spotted two areas that required MOHS surgery that another dermatologist totally missed.
