Dr. Petar Novakovic, MD

This doctor takes time to explain and examine a person and had great insight as to any medical problems. We have been with him for over 20 years and would not let any other doctor treat our families. He does take additional time to insure a person understands their health and treatments, and sometimes the wait is a little longer, but he is very through with he care. He's a great doctor and person.

Dr. Novakovic is very knowledgeable, caring, and kind. I am so glad he was recommended to me, and I have recommended him to others as well. I will continue to keep him as my primary care physician.

I don't recommend this place. The staff seems confused and disorganized. I have come in their office multiple times upon their request and when i show up they tell me they cant see me or have to reschedule. This happened multiple times. I needed a medication they said they have and they had me drive all the way to their office and when i arrived they said they dont have the medication i needed so it was a wasted trip. This same thing has happened to several people i referred to this doctor. I finally switched to a different clinic and i no longer deal with the types of issues i dealt with at Novakovic's practice. I strongly recommended that the people I referred also change cause they keep getting the run around as well. Dr. Novakovic would be wise to re-evaluate his staff and make changes to improve. They are very unorganized.

Doctor novakovic Spends time and listen to our health concerns, given good treatment .Saved my husband life by early detection of prostate cancer ,it is 8 years now .

Been with dr novakovic for 10 years. His front desk staff has improved to excellent. He spends the time to cover all the things that are important to you. He has a very sharp nimble mind so time is not wasted.

I have gone to Dr. Novakovic for almost 20 years. He is kind and compassionate and listens to what I am saying. He does not push you out the door, if you have questions he gives information that you can understand. He cares about each and everyone of his patients as if they are the most important person in his practice. I rarely have to wait past my appointment time, they have it all together and get you seen in a timely manor. Love Dr and his staff.

An extremely competent physician who takes his time to hear what you have to say. He also stays updated on new treatments for the various ailments he sees in his patients. I totally trust Dr Novakovic and travel 3 hours for an appointment. When compared to other physicians, he is superior in his desire to help you and keep you healthy. He does not hesitate to find the cause of your problem, and then provide a course of action to treat you. Absolutely the Best!

Been seeing dr. N for almost 10 years. I drive 7 hours round trip to see him. He diagnosed within minutes what took other ‘specialist’ more than 7 monts of guess work. He is in the forefront of medical innovations and tries to treat alternatively as much as possible. It is not often that you find a physician who still stays very focused on his medical oath. He genuinely wants to help make people healthy. Does not hesitate to run labs or other tests. Do yourself a favor and go to a ‘real’ doc!

I see the PA under Dr. Novakovic. Always has me wait for over 15 minutes (even on an early morning appt. Seems rushed. Office staff seems dysfunctional when it comes to blood draw orders and prescription filling.

This is possibly the worst run medical office I have ever been to. No one returns my calls and they are not responding to my pharmacies request for a refill. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner once and like her but will not return. The providers may be good but the office is poorly run. None of the staff made eye contact and the medical assistant didn't know who to take my blood pressure, I had to tell her how and she still didn't do it correctly. There are better offices out there.

A family member recommended Dr Novakovic when I moved to North Phoenix in 2007. He is the most intuitive physician that I have experienced in 60 years of life. Smart as a whip + warm and friendly. Awesome ability to notice tiny details. Has a whole body approach to medicine. From aches and pains to colds and flu to yearly physicals, Dr Novakovic is my go to medical guru. Has offices in Chandler and in Desert Ridge.
