My experience with Dr. Bossart himself was great. His billing office was, however, a nightmare. After they received payment from my insurance company for less than the full amount billed, they repeatedly billed me for the balance, although Dr. Bossart was a network provider for my insurance and my insurance company assured me I was not responsible for any balance. Many bills and phone calls later, the problem is still not resolved.

He performed my moms cancer surgery 13 years ago. My mom placed her trust and life in this man's hands to give her a chance at a longer life. What he gave her was excruciating pain, depression, misery and disfigurement. For the initial operation Bossart was anxious to "save her life" and get her under the knife. She has never been able wear colostomy equipment due to surgical negligence and not creating a proper stoma. Over the last decade she has gone to Bossart many times to have her stoma he is very dismissive, insensitive and does not care for the health and well being of his patient. My mom and I just left her appointment with Bossart. To say I am furious with his lack of empathy, not doing a proper exam, asking or answering our questions is an understatement. Bossart was more concerned about my mother getting health insurance, (we repeatedly told him is not financially able to) then about her care or well being.

After being told by at IHC that the soonest appointment available for the recommended Colon Rectal Surgeon would be over 3 months out I went searching for another Doctor. Fortunately I found Dr. Bossart and was actually able to get in the same day. The office staff was very professional and friendly and Doctor Bossart was congenial and knowledgeable. He performed a quick procedure and I was out in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Bossart provided outstanding expert care. It could not have been any better. He is very intelligent, very well informed, highly competent, is attentive, answers all questions, discusses options in detail and with clarity, and is very easy to talk to. He has great judgement and sense, is on-time, and is fast--but not at all hasty, rushed or superficial. After procedures, his follow-up is superior. Similarly, his office staff are very personable and outstanding to work with in every way.

I can't say enough about Dr. Bossart and his staff, for the excellent care I received. I had seen 4 different Dr.'s who had misdiagnosed me with hemorrhoids. After 2 weeks of excruciating pain, I was referred to Dr. Bossart. His office told me to come in immediately. Once there, Dr Bossart knew instantly that I had an abscess and sent me straight to the hospital for emergency surgery. His professionalism and caring bedside manner are unbeatable. I highly recommend him! 10 Stars!

Too bad there aren't 10 stars. Dr. Bossart's bedside manner is TOP NOTCH. Caring. Concerned about me. Took time to explain everything throughly. Explained the procedure step by step without sugar coating how painful a shot would be. He was EXTREMELY generous with his time. My doctor called him to see if he could do the procedure and he wasn't even at his office that day. He was finishing at the hospital and met me at his office. I was desperate and SO grateful he agreed to extend his day for me!

Had surgery the day he left for a week long vacation. The next morning I passed out in my bathroom; it looked like a crime scene. Since he was totally unavailable there was no one will to take responsibility for doing anything about my blood loss, I suffered for six months, finally have IV iron. That was done by my primary care Dr. IN his office I cannot count the number of times I lay there...in that embarrassing "pose"...butt in air for as long as 45 minutes. Nope. Not "my kind of Dr".

I had Hemmorhoids that had been bleeding for quite some time so my doctor referred me to Dr. Bossart. I wished I had never gone! He took care of the Hemmorhoids but without ANY anesthetic of any kind & I was in terrible pain! I told him I was about to pass out but he kept going. After he finished I had to wait to walk until I had myself back under control, as I kept feeling like I was going to pass out & crying. I cried the whole way home, 100 miles away! Worst experience ever!!
