I am disgusted by the lack of concern and communication he had with me. He rushed an intro, spoke quickly. I was uncomfortable and wish he would have slowed down. To start an IV, he did not check both of my arms to find the best vein possible, did not ask me until after he tortured me trying to get into my right arm, where the best place was, he failed and then tried to move down to my hand. I told him no, at one point it felt as if he was fishing, the tourniquet was way too tight, and left on too long, he palpated too long and flicked me several times, he tried to blame me after saying because I was dehydrated, had thick skin, veins that roll. He NEEDS continuing education on IV insertion. That was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my entire life, I was screaming, crying as it felt as if I was being tortured with the small movement of the needle in my arm. Any trust I had for the dentist is gone! It makes to sick to think I'll even need an IV again.
