Dr. Peter Forman, MD

I can’t even began to explain the EXCEPTIONAL care I have received from Dr.Forman when I was his patient 22 years ago and the care my 7 year old gets from him and Carly now! I was so happy after I gave birth to my daughter that he was still in the area because there’s NO other doctor I’d rather care for my daughter! Dr Forman is not just compassionate and caring but he is also thorough, he listens and he explains everything in detail, he really takes his time! If I email or call about an issue I get a response right away, or my daughter gets seen right away! I live in Watervliet he’s in slingerlands but it’s so worth the travel!!!! Everybody I know that needs a doctor I always say CALL DR FORMANS office he’ll be able to see you as a new patient and he’s awesome!

I had a couple of concerns, which he brushed off. I use his office, but I will not see him again.

A doctor's ability to, at least partially, alleviate a patient's anxieties concerning their health issues, while accurately diagnosing and prescribing treatment is invaluable. Dr. Forman has that quality. My wife and I have been patients of Delmar family medicine for many years, at two locations. We have always been treated courteously and wait times have been minimal. Of course , the fact that he laughs at my jokes and sarcasm, helps.

Dr Forman is the best. He always greets you with energy and a smile. He is interested in you, not just the normal run of the mill visit. His staff is friendly, I have never waited more than a couple of minutes to be called into the office and the have never waited more than a couple of minutes for the doctor. On some occasions I have needed an appointment right away...and he always finds a spot for me to come into the office. He was my 4th try at a general physician and I'm so glad that he is my doctor!

I’ve been seeing Dr Forman for years, and continue to be pleased with his practice. Every doctor, nurse, NP, and receptionist has always been helpful and attentive. I receive prompt return calls and appointments for any concern. The staff take their time to thoroughly discuss any issues and their recommendations. I always feel listened to. My children love Dr Forman as well. He takes the time to chat with them and help them feel comfortable in every encounter. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Foreman did not examine me with stethoscope even though I complain of chest pain!

Great staff! Great Doctor! No complaints!

The staff is rude and whenever I call can’t get an appointment. The staff keeps brushing me off. Dr Foreman’s office never called for a f/u.

I haven't seen him in a while, I just requested a prescription over the phone and it was very easily accomplished.

I definitely will not recommend him or Delmar family medicine to any of my friends or relatives. Some of their font-desk are horrible. Not only they messed up my schedules but also shown no patience and did nothing for my second schedule with Forman. "We have thousands of patients and only I can do is to pass your message. I cannot guarantee anything including when the doctor will call you back." This is what I heard over the phone from yesterday and I have been trying to reach them for a week.

We love everyone at this practice. Great doctors!

Dr. Foreman & staff are very nice. I've been a patient for years because their very welcoming manner puts you at ease. They practice "bedside manners" in the office. He's been both my primary AND Gyno LONG before I've ever had any health insurance and if they ever stopped accepting my insurance I would STILL keep seeing him/them!

Thorough and caring. This practice always makes time for my family.
