I love Doctor Franklin
Unfortunately I have to find another Doctor as he is no longer taking my insurance. I am so bummed.

If zero stars were an option...
The negative reviews on here and elsewhere should be taken very seriously. My experience did not involve simple disinterest or lack of concern by this doctor's office, as others have mentioned, but rather taunting, threating and intimidating voicemails left on my phone (recorded and preserved) over a $400 bill that I didn't know my insurance hadn't covered. I suffer from severe depression (as the doctor well knows), and yet I was still treated in this manner. I wish I had read other reviews about this practice first.

Caring Primary care Dr.
I have been in the care of Dr. Peter E. Franklin as my Primary Care physician for over 10 years. Not only has he been respectful as my physician as to my medical issues, he had shown compassion and frankness when explaining all test results; what they mean; and suggesting alternatives to achieve better outcomes to meet better health goals in my life. I feel he is a friend I can confide in as well as a physician I can learn from.

I've been a patient of Dr. Franklin for almost 2 years and I find him to be compassionate and caring towards his patients. He comes prepared to see me and reviews with me the latest lab tests he orders and informs me the areas of concern with my health. He has an excellent bedside manner while conducting his examinations, and I'm grateful not only that I found I great doctor, but I found a wonderful human being who cares about his patients. Remember, there is only so much he can do, the rest is up to us, his patients. As far as the front desk staff concerns, I have had a possitive experience and other matters are just personality issues, but, we all have those. All in all, I'll definitely recommend Dr. Franklin, especially in light of my previuos experiences with other doctors in the Monterey Peninsula area.

I was referred to Dr. Franklin's practice by a patient of mine. I am a nurse. What a pleasant surprise to find a gentle, kind doctor who is also experienced and smart. He spends time with his patients. He's a good listener and he rarely forgets anything you tell him. The referrals he made for me and my husband were also exceptional specialists. How did I miss this guy for so long? You'll be lucky to have him for your doctor. Dr. Franklin is old school...a doctor you can trust...and that's the most important thing to a nurse.

Sorry to inform you but due to the unprofessional nature and lack of care or empathy from Jennifer I'm now looking for another healthcare provider. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt , but after many visits feeling rushed and treated as if she's doing me a favor or as if I was a burden. I've had enough. First follow up I had to remind her incompetent self of test that she ordered which came back that I needed to see a specialist due to liver damage. As she was trying to rush me out AGAIN!!! Then I came back for another visit, and due to her ignorance or lack of compassion she prescribed me a prescription for sleep which would an cause me more liver damage. Her lack of care for another humans life is disturbing beyond measure. She has no place in the healthcare profession with a heart like that. I would hope it was because her laziness rather than a refection of her heart , which is still a terrible look. I hope this will at least open you offices eyes to the servic

Be very careful be billed me for services I didn’t receive. He billed me for an adult child whom I didn’t agree to pay put it in my name and turned over to credit company. Many times I tried to straighten out with his office. I now have a mark in my credit report for services not received. Very deceptive billing services and office

Dr Franklin is a good, direct doctor. His billing manager is also pleasant. The problem I have is with the clerk Nicky, she is awful. I have been a patient for over a year and she simply does not get better. She does not answer the phone, is rude to patients, is loud and does not respect privacy, and does not return phone call. I think she disadvantages this practice because of her behavior.

Dr. Franklin never really sits there with you, or take his time to listen to your sympstoms. He instead thinks he knows the problem. I don't feel comfortable or welcome because he is always busy and on the go for other things. I don't feel like he's my primary doctor at all.
