Dr. Peter Gonzalez, MD

Saw Dr. Gonzalez for a lingering back issue and before I could even point to the pain or talk about the history, he was dismissing back pain as largely incurable with no known source. His only saving grace was that he did agree I was technically too young for such persistent back pain (lord help you if you're over 50 and go to him though) and ordered blood work for a suspected rheumatoid cause, which ended up being what it was. So 2 stars for ordering the right test.

He made me feel like my issue was not serious enough to be there, even tho I have constant pain. I went there for help (and after an uncomfortable time with a Dr that needs to read these reviews and change his approach when communicating with patients ) I got a prescription for an MRI. Hopefully I get answers with that.

Dr. Gonzalez and his assistant Christine, are very patient-oriented. I had a painful and acute problem and they found a way to fit me in to their schedule. Happy to say I got great care.

I saw Dr. Gonzalez two times over three years. I had a hip injury caused by a fall. I received a very successful injection from him that remedied the problem. This past week, two knee problems due to bone on bone osteoarthritis. I received two shots. He was cordial, helpful, and did not rush me with my questions. He does not sugar coat his findings, and is professional. He has over 20 plus years of experience. He spoke about all the options I have injection therapy etc. I know eventually I will probably need to bite the bullet and get knee replacements. I’ll be back. I like the convenience, physical therapy in same building., cleanliness of office, ease of parking, x rays on site plus, nice office staff!

He told me nothing was wrong with my hip. He yelled at me and refused to believe that I was in pain. Very nasty. I went to another doctor...my hip was fractured. I had a total hip replacement with a different doctor.

Uncaring and dismissive attitude. No level of empathy.

Dr Gonzalez did a through exam and explained my condition and what todo about it

Doctors Gonzalez was an excellent doctor. Very attentive understanding, and could relate to my sports industry. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gonzolez was very good. Gave me exercises to do.

He took care of my wife’s back problem last week with 100% relief and solved my hip problem this week! We both think very highly of his technical skill as well as caring manner and the time he takes with you to make sure that you are satisfied with the care he gives. A great doctor!

This provider was very dismissive Uncaring blamed age for the pain, no diagnosis no treatment Doesnt care in least bit if your not young and athletic. It was a shame how blunt and uncaring he actually was May be time for him to change careers or not see any patients who are over 30yrs old It was strange & waste of time Asked what I wanted him to do Could care less that I was having pain and difficulty walking. I will make certain to never go to this office again.

Gonzalez shot my knee up with cortisone. 3 days later the pain came back. Now my knee is swollen and the pain has migrated to my calf. In pain and limping for 2 weeks. Called the office and left messages FIVE TIMES to call and speak to me about this. No one ever called back.

Very dismissive about my symptoms. Asked me what I wanted him to do. Stay away from him !!!!

Dr. Gonzalez is thorough, personable and a great listener. Highly recommend!

I was pleased with the time it took to take the X-ray and meet with the doctor. He explained my condition, compared it to an X-ray from se real years ago, and offered suggestions. He also ordered bloodwork to rule out a specific condition. Office staff was friendly and efficient.

Dr was kind and caring and listened attentively. He accurately diagnosed my back issues and I appreciate his conservative approach. He explained everything in detail and discussed a future plan. I met Dr in the past and returned to him for this new issue for me. Completely satisfied with his approach and confident in his care. Highly recommend.

I returned to him as a follow up after being injected by the nurse practitioner which did nothing to alleviate the pain in my knee….. He told me nothing he could do short of knee replacement surgery! I went to another orthopedist and she drained the fluid and injected via ultrasound which totally took away my pain. Explanation was the NP injected into the fluid and it went nowhere. I am a health care practitioner as well and he is a disgrace to his profession. Stay away!
