UNBELIEVABLE!
First heart attack, went to ED. I had a horrible experience with another cardiologist at the ER and for the follow up. Dr. JOHNSTON was referred to me by my daughter’s law firm and although the drive was a bit far from my home, it was well worth it! He was so genuine, he listened. He explained and made sure I understood, he was very polite and shook my hand to my surprise. I’ve heard nothing but good things from his staff, and it wasn’t just because they work for him. I observed their mannerisms and their body language. They were being honest. I need this doctor because nowadays you’re just another person , but he didn’t make me feel that way. He made me feel like he was really concerned about my well-being. Advised me the steps we need to take to get better. I saw him later in another part of the building, and he greeted me with such kindness as he did at my appointment…awesome!

Feeling Lucky to Have Been Treated By This Guy
Introduced to Dr. Johnston via an Emergency visit to Howard County General Hospital. Shocked to learn I needed an emergency catherization procedure performed several minutes after I arrived. Surprise Surprise! Immediately had the sense after initially meeting him that I was in very good and experienced hands. He performed the procedure to insert a stent to a fully blocked artery. I was conscious during the entire time and never felt any pain. He did a fabulous job and I am feeling great today. Now that I am researching his background to see who he is, I can see that my initial sense was well justified. Thank you Doc! May God Bless you with happiness, health, and long life! Very grateful to have gotten you in the luck of the draw! I must just be a lucky guy.

Really great experience for a procedure I needed to do, but was dreading. Cardio Cath, to look for plaque and blockages in preparation for heart valve repair. Staff was really friendly, attentive, and caring. About 6 people are around you for this procedure, and you are awake. One staff member even held my hand and talked to me during most of the procedure to distract me. Before I left, Dr Johnston gave me the results of the procedure on disk that I could send to the surgeon doing my heart valve repair. That's great service! I don't know how many he does per week or day, but I know it's a lot. Really no pain, other than a couple needle pokes. Hope this review helps put any future patient at ease.
