A friend received a 2nd cancer diagnosis in 3rd Qtr 2022; her first was June 2021. Returning to see the same surgeon she'd seen in 2021, she found the level of care so lacking she was convinced to get a 2nd opinion at UCHealth. (Even her primary expressed concern.) Thankfully, her consultation was w/ Dr. Kabos. He responded expeditiously to the appt. request & saw her the day before Thanksgiving 2022. Within a week he had assembled a team of potential healthcare providers --including an onco-surgeon, a plastic surgeon, a radiologist, &a nurse practitioner. My friend met w/ them all in the course of one day. The responsiveness and the level of competent and compassionate care that she has experienced is light years beyond what she had experienced elsewhere previously. I accompanied my friend to her medical appointments in 2021, and have done so virtually in 2022 and 2023. I am very grateful to Dr. Kabos & the entire UCHealth team. Bless them all!!!
