Dr. Peter Kan, MD

It has taken me so long to leave my review on Doctor Kan because I couldn’t find the perfect words to describe my experience with him. I wanted it to be the best review because he deserves that and much more!! He saved my life!! He removed an AVM from my brain 6 months ago. The surgery lasted 17 hrs, he kept going until he felt that my AVM was completely gone and for that I am forever grateful! He was very professional and showed me and my family how much he cared! My husband said that he would come in every day to check on me and reassure him that everything was going to be fine and to just let me rest. He understood when I told him that I wanted to be home with my babies and I started doing PT at home. I just recently had my last PT session!! Dr. Kan was heaven sent!! I would recommend him to everyone!!!Thank you Dr. Kan!!

I reached out to Dr. Kahn when the V.A. sent me home to die saying my brain aneurysm was inoperable , my wife found Dr. Kahn online and he was willing to try to save my life when no other Doctor would !! He explained every step he was going to take I was never in the dark about anything that was going to happen. He handled the V.A. insurance for me, and personally calls to check on me ! Hes a lifesaver!! Doing new things with surgery that is going to save many lives in this world in his lifetime!! Thank u Dr. Kahn !!

My mom had a large aneurysm treated by Dr. Kan. She did well and went home the day after. He also treated her carotid stenosis. We are grateful for his service

Excellent. I have tinnitus for two years. The stenting today completely resolved it.

I think Dr. Kan is good. But there's risk. After angiogram, I couldn't move body and walk at all. But they couldn't find anything so no longer I can stay at hospital. He helped me to get in rehabilitation. When I get better do follow up with him like he said, I couldn't get any better so I didn't follow up with him. Now I can use my hand but still can't walk. I know there's risk about medical conditions. Keep that in mind.

Dr. Kan did a cerebral angiogram on my husband. We found him very caring and thoughtful. He answered all our questions and gave us a report on his findings immediately after the procedure.

This young doctor did a coiling and stenting of my brain anureysm while at USF in Tampa Florida. I found him to be caring and throughly educated in his field. I felt truly blessed that our paths crossed at a very scary time in my life.
