Dr Kent has been treating me for lupus erythematosis for years. I find him very thorough, and caring. Another of my Mayo rheumatologist told me I was in great hands with Dr Kent. I highly recommend him to anyone looking an excellent physician.

He told me that I was making all of my symptoms up and when I had blood work come back positive he told me that they were all false positives. He then concluded the appointment by making a joke about me committing suicide.

I do not recommend Dr Kent and highly advise going to anybody else. He doesn’t listen and makes you feel like you are making up symptoms. I’ve never had a Dr treat me that way ever. Very arrogant and condescending. I left in tears after some very bad appointments and finally got into and another doctor who diagnosed me accurately and I’m doing great now.

I have been seeing Dr. Kent for at least the last 10 years for my rheumatoid arthritis. He was referred to me by my Mayo Clinic rheumatologist. Dr. Kent has been extraordinary!! He listens, he is knowledgeable, he performs procedures perfectly!! I would go to no one else if you want a great rheumatologist.

I saw Dr. Kent for 2 yrs for a later diagnosed serious condition for which I am now receiving IVIG therapy for every 2 weeks in addition to being on 2 other serious medicines to suppress my immune system. During that time Dr. Kent treated me very badly and didn’t believe me. He even said in my medical record it was in my head, because of weight and a hysterectomy- all which were untrue. Please consider another Dr. .so you don’t have to go through what I did. Dr. Kent disregarded my symptoms.

Diagnosis was wrong, according to the Doctors who have now correctly diagnosed me. He was also incredibly rude, accused me of being a drug seeker, and basically told me to suck it up. When I tried to get a second opinion from his colleague, that Doctor immediately told me he agreed with Dr. Kent and wouldn't even examine me. So, they were both wrong. Thanks for showing me what I don't want in a Doctor, I will never accept such poor treatment again.
