Dr. Peter Lammens, MD

Four years ago I had my left knee replaced and it was a great experience. This last December I needed to get my right knee replaced and my original Dr. had retired so after much research I chose Dr. Lammens. My surgery we December 5th for a total knee replacement and today is 3 months after the surgery - I am back to playing handball with NO pain three days a week. The Surgery was great and the PT with Panorama was also great - quick recovery - high markets all around!

I have had knee pain for a few years prior to seeing Dr. Lammens. I had gone through a succession of injections and had the miniscus trimmed with a previous Dr. Insurance issues kept me from continuing with the othe Dr. My provider stated the Physicians at Panorama Orthopedic centers had a solid reputation. It was very important that I found the right doctor. Osteoarthritis in both hips and knees through xrays and mri. Dr. Lammens put together a comprehensive plan together in order to replace all four joints. I was apprehensive about having the left side done due to previous surgeries involving a compound fracture. Dr. Lammens assured me that he would wrap and protect my leg during the two joint surgeries. He listened to my concerns and stated exactly how he would address the issues I had prior to surgery. I feel very fortunate to have him as my surgeon. We have to more to go through and I have all the confidence needed to go through with Dr. Lammens.

I was referred to Dr. Lammens from a mutual friend ….another physician …..with a hip injury due to a dog bite. He explained the multiple options and moving forward I saw him for a follow up appointment and provided guidance as to the various options I should be looking at. I have no reason to not recommend him. He also worked well with my insurance company and my legal counsel. His support staff was also cordial thorough and professional

Dr. Lammens is the beat there is. He not only took good care of me for a hip replacement, he also took great care of my husband knees.

I have been having pain in my hip and leg for months. I know it was caused by my over-exerting myself with exercise and repetitive motion. I tried everything to relieve the pain including seeing other providers. Nothing worked. Dr. Lammens listened to my issues, was understanding of sports injuries and knowledgable. He knew exactly how to exam me to diagnose the problem and how to treat it. I know I will be needing a hip replacement and knee replacement soon and Dr Lammens will be my surgeon. I have a lot of confidence in him.

My hip was in such pain that I was unable to walk. Panorama got me in to see Dr. Lammens the very next day. He gave me a Cortizone shot and told me it would take four or five days to kick in if the problem was actually my hip. By day four I was able to walk normally with little pain and on day five I was able to run errands for three hours with no pain. I am extremely impressed with panorama and especially Dr. Lammens.

Dr Lammens is very thorough and explains everything that is going to happen. At my 6 week check up, he basically told me 'this is your time so don't worry about being rushed out.' This is very unusual in this day and age where I think most doctor's try & see so many patients in a day that they really don't have time to spend with each one. I would definitely refer Dr Lammens, he did a great job for me!

It’s rare to find an orthopedic surgeon who is compassionate and willing to spend meaningful time with you, but Dr. Lammens is both. Additionally, he doesn’t pick only the young and athletic to treat and deducates himself to seniors and others with orthopedic issues, as well. I highly recommend Dr. Peter Lammens.
