I've been going to this office since I was in high school. In recent years it's been harder and harder to get an appointment. Recently, I have had a new onset issue and attempted to make an appointment with the office in which I called and couldn't reach office. Only call center. Never received call back from office, and had to take it upon myself to go to a specialist. Upon still having my issue, I attempted again to get an appointment at this office. My PCP was booked until October and I had to settle for a new MD that I've never seen before and STILL had to wait at least a week for the appointment. I have now had my issue for 3, going on 4 weeks. Today my appointment got canceled about an hour before my appointment time due to a power outage, and although that sounds like an unforeseen circumstance, I am still inconvenienced and untreated for yet another day. I have never written a review in my life on anything, let alone ever written a bad review, but this is just unacceptable.

Another doctor recommended Dr. Luongo to me and assured me I'd be in good hands. Appointment times are actual appointment times, not broad concepts. I have been seen within moments of my arrival every single time without fail. When the Dr is in the exam room he is 100% in the room taking extra time to hear your issues and to go over possible treatments. Emails and phone calls are answered quickly even when I've indicated no rush for answers. Out of the numerous doctors I've had during the last 60+ years he stands out as the best overall.

The perfect doctor

Dr. Luongo is caring and understanding. He listens and answers your questions. He makes recommendations and orders testing and makes referrals as necessary and not frivolously. His follow-ups are wonderful. He asks about family. He always remembers other reasons you have visited the office. Dr. Luongo always returns calls and calls you with results and recommendations. My next comments have no bearing on Dr. Luongo or his staff. Because insurance companies have reduced the pay structure significantly, doctors have been forced to be swallowed by hospitals. Since the practice has been taken over by the Valley Hospital Medical System, it is many times difficult to reach the office directly. I found twice the system has over booked at my time slot twice. Also it takes me a day or two extra to get an answer to "When was the last time. . . " I am not even sure they pass messages on.

I arrived at my appointment with a long list of questions and every one was answered. Dr luongo is caring and compassionate. My appointments are scheduled 6 months in advance in the office- I know he is busy but worth the wait. Except for one person in the office they are super.

DR Luongo is awesome. In my opinion, he is highly skilled and I would recommend him.

Not impressed. The office staff is very rude. When I tried to check in for my appointment, the receptionist was on the phone with another patient. She didn’t even acknowledge me. I stood there waiting more than five minutes while she chatted. She totally ignored me. Meantime, I came in to see Dr. Luongo for a specific reason. He didn’t have a clue what was wrong with me. Did blood work and forgot to call me. No nurse to give me results. I won’t be going back.

5 minutes on hold to schedule an appointment. As a new patient, I would have to wait two months.

Such a great experience to have good Doctor. Dr.Luongo took the time to go over all my questions. I have seen dr. for few years and have always been very satisfied with the care and attention that I have received.

Competentence and character; Dr. Luongo delivers what patients need most, trust. For you to trust a doctor you must know they are competent and of good character. As a fellow physician and patient I can unequivocally vouch for Dr. Luongo.

Dr Luongo is a dedicated and compassionate physician with years of experience and always goes above and beyond to care for his patients. A fine doctor with great staff.

I've been with Dr. Luongo for two decades, and he remains top-flight. He is a keen listener, and does not look to move his patients along without getting a full understanding of their issues, their lifestyles and how they might affect certain conditions, both temporary and chronic. This is not a lazy physician. He will proceed with an abundance of caution when it comes to his patients and take the time to find the best path(s) forward.

I started with this practice in the early 1970's, with Dr. Luongo's father. Both Dr. Peter Luongo and Dr. Theodore Sgambati are excellent physicians. It is a busy practice, but each of them will take the time to interview a patient to determine the proper course of treatment or next steps. My entire family relies on these two doctors. They are knowledgeable, professional and caring in providing medical attention to their patients. The Office Staff has a difficult job and performs well.

Dr Luongo is an excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable and caring. The staff is helpful as well. Had an issue with the billing and the billing department and manager were more than willing to accommodate my needs. Very pleasant.

Dr. Luongo is an amazing doctor! He is so caring and knowledgeable. I had an issue with a bill and his dedicated manager handled it with ease. They always go above and beyond what is accepted.
