Dr Mangone has never rushed a visit, always open to discussion. Terrific surgeon and a really nice person. Sorry he's leaving the area. The way his team responds to him and to me, the patient, speaks very highly of his character.

Dr. Mangone answered all my questions (time and time again), and solved a years long problem with my ankle. His techniques are minimally invasive, and successfully reconstructed a tendon and some ligaments, and used new technology involving amniotic fluid & umbilical cords to help heal faster. Would recommend to anyone and glad I found him.

Dr. Mangone saw me after I crushed my foot, he and his emergency staff did a superb job evaluating my injuries. He recommended reasonable and affective actions on my part. Had me back on first day for a follow-up to be sure I was out of danger. Second Day appoint was equally well administered to validate the recommendations were working.... they were. Set new appointment for next week with surgery likely in a couple of weeks. I could not be happier with his great 'bed-side manners', clear communications and extreme medical care he is providing. I had many visits. Not only did I break my ankle but I ripped my rotator cuff and biceps tendon. Dr. Mangones skill and kindness along with his staff and PT got me through this. Today I walked to the top of the falls at Chimney Rock State Park with no issues. Many stairs and rocks to climb—I am a hiker. I thought with what had happened to me would make it impossible for me to accomplish because the break was very bad. Multiple bones were broken. He had said it was one of the worst he had seen. But I’m back hiking. I want to tell people that Dr Mangone is a great surgeon, but it is important to work with your physical therapist and continue your therapy at home

I had a neuroma removed from my foot on Feb 29, 2024. I expected to have a lot of pain and problems, but I had none. I used acetominophen and Ibuprofen for about 1 week. I did not need opioids. I was walking without crutches within 3-4 weeks and at 8 weeks was back to walking 2 miles. Thanks Dr Mangone for restoring my function and ability to walk again without pain.

Coming to see Dr. Mangone for the first time after a failed surgery elsewhere was very stressful to say the least. Everyone at the clinic was polite and helpful which put me at ease. Dr. Mangone and I discussed what needed to be done and surgery was planned. I am very thankful for the word of mouth recommendation to see him, it has changed my life for the better.
