Great Doctor!
Very attentive to the patient. Especially tries to recommend the best course of treatment, explaining options and then letting the patient ask questions and make an informed decision. I appreciated the visual model of the foot on the desk which I studied while momentarily waiting for his arrival. This helped to further educate me as to the problem with my foot. He answered my questions and provided additional information relevant to my options, all which was appreciated. Also, his assistant or associate who fitted my foot with the brace was excellent; a great teacher and aid in helping me get prepared to go forth with the necessary information so as to be successful in my recovery and rehabilitation. Overall a great team!

Closer to home quality
Dr Maurus took my issues seriously and pursued symptoms to the next level of testing where he found tendonitis and not simply aging. I am now involved in physical therapy and have been prescribed an ankle brace. I am hopeful these will alleviate some of what I sought help for and all done without traveling too far from home!
