Dr. Peter Odland, MD

On October 21, 2002 Dr. Odland performed Mohs surgery to remove cancer cells from my right ear canal. My wife and I were staying overnight at The Inn AT Virginia Mason. While at dinner my ear began to bleed. We called Dr. Odland. He told us to go immediately to a surgical prep room in the hospital. He obtained permission to see us and met us there. He cauterized the bleeding area and the bleeding finally stopped. It was getting late. Even so he was able to have food brought for us and saw to it that we were well taken care of. That was 22 years ago. I am age 97 now, and widowed; however I will always remember his skill, kindness and persistence in taking such good care of us. Thank you Dr. Odland. Charles Hall.

Dr Odland has performed Mohs surgery on my face twice, most recently a month ago. Both times I have been very happy with the results. The first time was along my lower eye lids and this time was down the side of my nose. Healing time was quick and his skill as a surgeon is evident when looking at my face. The nursing staff was kind and very helpful in sending me home with the instructions and supplies needed to help make my recovery speedy.

I am 34 years old and had basal cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose. I was extremely worried about the surgery and the end result. Dr. Odland and his team quelled all of my anxieties and made me feel secure in my choice of doctors. The Dr even called to check up on me after the surgery, it really felt like they care here! Special shout out to Christina as well, she had a warm and fantastic presence that kept my mind off the procedure and made me laugh -- thank you!!
