Repeat Patient
I absolutely recommend Dr Sfakianos. He has been my Orthopedist for at least 25yrs He is smart, effective & caring. He has done 3 knee replacements & I am waiting on a 4th. I have had him fix a mistake when an Emergency hospital Orthpedic Surgeon's work failed then abruptly dropped me saying there was nothing more he could do. Dr Sfakianos saw my X-Rays & immediately said he could fix it. Because of the initial problem & the extremely slow bone healing, I needed a total of 5 operations in 5 yrs. He fixed the problem & I no longer have the deformity I came in with. I have been told by several Physical Therapists in 2 counties that Dr S's knees were the best & quickest healing they had seen. His Assistant & office staff are excellent & efficient respectively. All are friendly and effective. I have recommended this outstanding Dr. many times.

Not a good doctor. Doesn't care for you. Seems to have lost passion for patients, appointments are so far scheduled like 3 months apart just because he only works 1 day at office. I will have to remind him what we have done so far & I would suggest things. I spent 2 years with him, full corporation but that was a mistake. Surgery was failed surgery but biggest problem I have is that he wasn't transparent & often times I caught him/lying or rather lets say hiding the truth. Didn't even order a xray post surgery for some 10 months even though I kept reporting pain hasn't gone. Eventually xray reveal problem has actually worsened. I won't recommend you. If you disregard this review & still go to him, then at least do take second opinion especially for surgery. Take it from an orthopedic from different office. In person he is nice to talk to and all that. Btw office & him weren't wearing masks for covid initiallyLastly but not least, to the reader, I wish your injury gets resolved soon :)

This doctor is subpar. First, I saw him for a knee injury secondary to old hardware placed. His solution was to remove all the extensive hardware in my leg to fix the medial aspect of my knee. Very aggressive for a small problem. I declined and was able to fix my knee entirely on my own by starting hot yoga. This surgery could have been catastrophic. Second, a family member of mine recently had knee repair completed by him, basic, and now has to travel out of the area for repair of this.
