Worst most unprofessional Dr experience I’ve ever dealt with! Abandons pt with no notice!! All about the money!

My baby daddy goes there andhe got cut down he asks why they say stanbro told me too i ask about the other people and my doctor says you came to her first no one else is getting cut down

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! I WISH I COULD PUT NO STARS!!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR PSYCHIATRIC NEEDS. SHAME ON YOU PETER STANBRO AND STEVEN JOHNSON!!! WHAT IS THE DOCTORS OATH YOU TAKE? AT THE VERY LEAST IT'S NOT TO CAUSE HARM!!! YOURE DEALING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES AND MENTAL HEALTH AND ALL THEY DO IS PRESCRIBE MEDS IRRESPONSIBILITY AND TREAT YOU AS A BILLABLE RESOURCE WITH DISREGARD FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL BEING... AT ALL!!! THEY HAD ME ON 5 DIFFERENT MEDS...PRESCRIBING MEDS TO ADDRESS THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE PREVIOUS MED AND PRESCRIBING PSYCHOTROPIC MEDS DUE TO THEIR SIDE AFFECTS RATHER THAN THEIR PRIMARY PURPOSE (I WAS PRESCRIBED A ANTI PSYCHOTIC DRUG FOR A SLEEP DISORDER I WAS EXPERIENCING) THIS CAUSED A SEVERE REACTION... I WANTED TO WEEN OFF... THEY DIDN'T HONOR MY DESIRES AND CONTINUED TO PRESCRIBE MORE MEDS! THEY'RE POORLY RESPONSIVE WITH COMMUNICATION AND CHICKEN SH*T PUSS*S WHEN THE WATERS GET A LITTLE MUDDY AND THE RUBBER HITS THE ROAD!!! YOU'RE DEALING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES

We went to an appointment at Dr. Stanbro‘s office, sometimes we wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen for an appointment, this time we got there, I thought our appointment was at a certain time but evidently we were 12 minutes late, We were told we were going to have to reschedule, His office manager was very rude to us. Then we got a letter saying they will not be seeing us again!!! He’s never really managed our daughters medication anyway.

Has been great for my daughter and our family. He and his staff is the best around.

Good luck deciphering any bills you receive from Stanbro. Be prepared for your appointments to be canceled with less than 3 hours notice. Be aware that you will often find yourself doing the administrative employees’ jobs for them. The staff will lie to you about when they received a prescription refill request from your pharmacy. Never expect your phone calls/voicemails to be returned.

Dr. Stanbro is hands down the best doctor that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is caring, compassionate, and honestly listens to his patients. He will do anything and everything he can to help those in his care. I have also seen another psychiatrist in his clinic as well as a therapist, and they were also wonderful. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and very helpful.

Stephen is absolutely amazing! He listens to your problems and is genuinely concerned about your wellbeing. I will always recommend him and his staff.

Terrible communication! My son had appointment and was never contacted to confirm any diagnosis. I had to follow up 3 weeks after the fact and they didn't seem to even have a record of his visit. This is a mental health clinic...glad my sons issue was not a life or death problem! Can't believe my family doctor referred us.

Very difficult to speak to a person when calling their office. You will get voice mail every single time. This is concerning when you are a mental health patient. Difficult to schedule appointments. I had to call at least 5 times prior to getting an appointment for the first time. No follow up after the appointment at all (even though a mental health crisis was occurring). Cost is ridiculous even w/ insurance. Not recommended.

VERY busy office, staff seems overwhelmed sometimes. But everyone is really nice. Dr Vaden is the best, she is great with my autistic son and really cares. She listens to what I have to say and is not afraid to ask questions or seek advice from others in the practice.

Bad staff, Horrible experience. These "doctors do not care about patients. They do not care if you are having real problems, they don't care enough to even wait 5 minutes for a first time patient that is having trouble finding the building. They just leave, no calls to see how you are doing, no texts to make sure you didn't kill yourself, they "treat" mental health, yet leave if you are 1 minute late with no warning at all. Horrible people, horrible staff, horrible policies. Shut them down.

Great experience. He knows mental health and explained medication effects and goals so that it was easily understood. He's good.

The only doctor who has actually looked AT me, talked TO me. EVER.
