Dr. Peter Wilson, MD

Dr. Wilson performed a successful inguinal hernia surgery on my right side on May 17th, 2019 at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, AL. His bedside manner is great and he fully explained the procedure and it's effects.

Dr. Wilson took great care of my mother. He was professional but personable. At both the pre op appt and the post op appt he noticed something that needed to be taken care of and got on it immediately. It was a stressful time for us and I was very appreciative of his knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Wilson did a fantastic job preoperative and postoperative. He explained what he felt needed to be done (a diagnostic laparoscopy) with a gallbladder removal which he felt was the most probably cause of my issue. All other testing by other physicians, including an MRI, ultrasound, etc. were unable to determine what issue I had. Surgery went well with very little postoperative issues and the problem seems to have been resolved. Every visit I have made at his office was perfect. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and was seen 20 minutes early.

Dr. Wilson is a great surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for the best surgeon in the area!

Dr. Wilson is one of the reasons we love living in Huntsville. He is experienced, professional and accessible. The office staff got me in to see him right away. He took plenty of time to explain the procedure, my options, what to expect...and answered my many questions. It's awesome having a Vanderbilt trained physician right here in our own community without having to drive to Nashville. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson!

Dr Wilson has my utmost respect. He removed a cyst on me and was very informative and listens after every follow up appointment. Makes sure you are comfortable and everything runs smoothly. Will 100% recommend to family and friends.

Dr Wilson performed my gallbladder removal (laproscopic). He explained the procedure to me beforehand explaining the good and bad of the procedure before and afterward. The surgery went well as he had predicted and the follow-up visit was smooth. I would recommend this surgeon for anyone.

I FOUND HIM A VERY CARING DOCTOR, HOWEVER, I SAW HIM FOUR TIMES AND ALL HE DID was GIVE ME THE SAME DRUG AS THE AMERICAN FAMILY CARE. HIS OFFICE TOLD ME THAT I OWN NOTHING FOR THREE OF MY VISITED. NEXT THING I AM GETTING BILLS FOR $150. I will not see him again. I do not thing he or his office care how much I spend. He made a lot of money on me for doing very little. I felt he could gave me this drug over the phone. American Family cured my problem with another drug an only $5 copay.

He listened and was very attentive! Thank you for your excellent care.
