Unwavering commitment to my health
Cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. E's exceptional care and expertise. When I first came to Dr. E, I was in excruciating pain and struggling to even move. My 6 previous rheumatologists were unable to properly diagnose or treat my condition, leaving me feeling hopeless and desperate. From the moment I met Dr. Efthimiou, I knew I was in good hands. Not only did he take the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly review my medical history, but he also conducted a comprehensive examination to accurately diagnose my condition.Dr. Efthimiou's knowledge and skill in rheumatology are truly remarkable. He developed a personalized treatment plan that addressed not only my symptoms but also the underlying cause of my illness. His compassion and dedication were evident in every aspect of my care, from the detailed explanations of my condition and support throughout my treatment journey. Thanks to Dr. E's expertise and unwavering commitment to my health, I am now pain free.

A terrible physician
If I could leave this doctor zero stars I would. I went in to see Dr. Efthimiou about a month ago for a chronic illness that I have had over 7 years. There was hardly a physical exam, a few questions if that and some bloodwork taken. I came in complaining of relentless pain that was interfering with my daily living and was told to “take over the counter pain medication”. After having blood drawn I never heard back to go over my blood results, which is unusual. After calling several several times and leaving countless messages with a nurse about receiving something for my pain and inflammation I was told I had to come back to see him in order to be assisted with a prescription even if I was away at a funeral. To sum all of this up, if you are looking for a caring and knowledgable doctor who is looking to actually assist and listen to his patients instead of just charge them for a visit please look elsewhere you will save yourself a headache and precious time.

I was very disappointed the care I received from Dr. Efthimiou. During the first visit I told him my complaints but I'm not sure he was really listening. There was basically no physical exam, no questions. I had blood work and was on my way. The follow up was all of 5 minutes . Again, no questions, no exam, just told to continue to take a med that someone else prescribed. I felt rushed and not listened to.

Exceptional Care
I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Petros for my rheumatological issues, and I can't express how grateful I am for the exceptional care I received. From the very first appointment, Dr. Petros demonstrated a genuine interest in understanding my symptoms and concerns. What stood out to me was the doctor's ability to explain complex medical concepts in a way that was easy for me to understand. They took the time to answer all of my questions, ensuring that I felt informed and involved in the decision-making process regarding my treatment. Moreover, Dr. Petros's compassion and empathy made a significant impact on my overall experience. Dealing with a chronic condition can be challenging, but having a rheumatologist who listens and cares makes a world of difference. His approach made me feel seen and supported throughout the entire treatment journey. The office staff was also friendly and efficient, contributing to a positive overall experience.

I've seen this doctor twice, and I have to say I wasn't thrilled with either visit. The first time, it felt like a five-minute rush job. He didn't even give me a chance to explain my issue properly; he just ordered a bunch of blood work and sent me on my way. The second visit was even worse. It barely lasted two minutes, and he didn't bother with a physical exam. He basically walked in, told me to take a certain medication, and left without any explanation. I thought he might be going to check some test results, but his assistant informed me that the visit was over. It's frustrating because he didn't take the time to discuss my results or why he was prescribing that medication. The lack of communication and attention to my concerns left me feeling unsatisfied with the whole experience.

Outstanding Doctor
I have seen many Rheumatologists in the top hospitals in the city and they could never find what was wrong with me. I was even told that "it is all in my head" and was offered psych meds instead. It took Dr Petros only one appointment to diagnose me and put me on the right treatment and now I feel 20 years younger. Highly recommended!
