I am happy with my treatment here
Let me start saying I have certain criteria I need from my doctors. Their bed side manner can be that of a cold fish, as long as they listen to me, ask questions to show they are listening and not immediately jumping on one symptom, and willing to refer me to my needed specialists. Dr. Okolo has met my criteria, and surpassed my initial expectations. I HATE doctor shopping, but will do it until I find a doc who is a good fit. I am pretty sure I finally found my fit after over a year searching.

These positive reviews are not legitimate. Too many bad reviews on the internet. Very unhappy with the entire experience.

I came to see Dr Okolo when I was experiencing an intense pain throughout one side of my torso. I couldn't sit for long before I was in pain. We had an xray done and she told me it was a gastro issue and I left with a prescription. Twi days pass and im still having excruciating pain that makes it impossible to sit for even half a minute. I go in again and she sends me to get immaging and blood work done. At a followup she only tells me I have a mass in my left lower side I should have checked out by a gyno eventually. I asked her if that could be the reason for my pain and she tells me no. Her recommendation was to continue with her previous advice and take over the counter pain med. I go to a gyno the same week anyway and he tells me I have a 3in tumor on my left ovary and it has twisted. Thats why I've been in pain and need to have emergency surgery. I have never been back to Dr Okolos office and will never recommend anyone trust her with their health.

Dr. Okolo has been my PCP for several years. She spends time checking my health and when I have health issues she is quick to diagnosis and issue a remedy. One of the things that I really like is prior to leaving her office I am provided with a complete printout of my visit that includes all my health vitals, and documented healthful recommendations and guidelines to help improve my health. She is very pleasant to deal with and spends a lot of one-on-one time with the patient.

I have been to many doctors and hospitals in my time and Dr. Okolo has been the best with the best care so far. I felt that she cared about my health just as much as I do. She is straight forward and made sure she had all of my medical information to give me the best and most coherent care possible. The entire staff made me feel welcome and made it easy to get the help and information I needed. I am confident she gives this exceptional care to all of her patients.

This doctor is solely in it for money. She has denied me services multiple times. Denying me medical equipment vital for my survival, denying me the ability to get my wheelchair I rely on to get around due to paralysis fixed, denying medications, etc. All for the sake of having patients come in for an appointment so she can bill the insurance and get more money. I wouldn't send my family members to her.

Finding an Internal Medicine doctor in the area that is knowledgeable, warm, caring and has a warm, friendly staff is hard to find; but we found them!! It was a bit intimidating with filling out the numerous health questions but it just shows that they want to make sure to cover all bases. Also bring your bottles of medications and over-the-counter medicine, supplements. I looked like a bag lady but it helped spelling those names and the dosage. Getting a follow up appointment was a breeze.
