Dr. Peyton Garrett, MD

Dr. Garrett was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my and my partner's questions thoroughly. I had heard great things about her beforehand, as one of my coworkers, who had seen her previously, spoke highly of her. I'm thrilled to have found such an excellent doctor and will be recommending her to everyone I know!

As a first time mom, i experienced a lot of discomfort through my care, but meeting Dr. Garrett completely changed my experience. She is kind, knowledgeable, reassuring, and incredibly humble. I really appreciate how she took the time to answer all of my questions. I’m so excited to have her as my new doctor and would wholeheartedly recommend her to all my family and friends. If you ever see this, Dr. Garrett, thank you for being exactly who you are and making a positive impart on my journey.

I saw Garrett as a substitute for my regular provider as she was out of office; who is the physician I trust most in this world; so I had high hopes. I also had some concerns I wanted to discuss with the doctor. In the appointment, dr. Garrett spoke so quickly to “diagnose” me without a minute of discussion or asking me more questions and then said I needed to get an iud as it would help my symptoms. I sat in the room for over an hour waiting after that dizzing conversation. I wanted to trust the provider and was terrified of the iud but felt like it was something I had to do in that moment as there wasn’t even time to breathe in my conversation with her. She came in, did an iud, without even doing a vaginal exam despite it being a well women’s visit. She provided no education about the iud. Nothing about how long it lasts, absolutely nothing. I have so much regret about that day and visit, and felt paralyzed in the moment—& am now trying to get it removed.
