Dr. Philip Bernstein, DPM

Assistant applied toenail softening compresses before procedure. They helped. Dr. Bernstein was pleasant, answered questions and offered reassurance. He is kind and skillful. My toe was sore for ever two years. It no longer hurt when Dr. Bernstein had finished, even though he said it might feel bruised for a day or two. I recommend him highly.

do not return calls, when called again i was told "hold" and kept on hold for more than 10 minutes, hung up, called again got machine again, left message. never heard from them again.

I saw Dr. Bernstein for a longtime foot issue. Highly recommend him! He was caring, spent the time explaining to me what the issue was, giving me all my options on what he feels I need to do going forward. It is hard to find a doctor who actually shows he cares and spends the time to answer all your questions and is very, very knowledgeable. His staff was super nice, efficient and I feel that is a rare find.

Dr. Bernstein’s office is poorly run. His staff is incompetent and has no idea how to manage patient billing. I was informed that I owed the practice $65 when I never received a bill. He also failed to obtain a preauthorization before doing a very quick procedure that he did not tell me I would be billed for. When I called the office to tell them that I was not happy about being taken advantage of, their front desk staff hung up on me 7 times. I ended up needing to call the office in the next town over to reach them, at which point I was told that they would reach back out to me which they didn’t. Outdated office environment with little privacy, misrepresentation of service, and beyond disrespectful staff. I will not be returning.

Dr. Philip Bernstein is an outstanding Podiatric Surgeon as well as an incredible person. I have had two different surgeries that were extremely successful. He also treated me for Plantar fasciitis and cured me. Most of all, he cares about my entire family's health whether related to podiatric surgery or not. He is extremely down to earth and humble. He also has a great team of nurses and technicians as well as office staff. I highly recommend him for all of your family's podiactric care!
