Dr. Philip Botkiss, MD

Do not waste a single second on this “doctor.” He’s the kind of psychiatrist who stigmatizes his own patient population.

I've had the honor of knowing Dr. Botkiss both personally and professionally. Dr. Botkiss is professional and caring giving every person he comes into contact with the highest level of care and respect. I've had the honor to watch Dr. Botkiss first hand show tremendous care and compassion for his patients. He is a fabulous doctor and colleague and I highly recommend him to anybody seeking healthcare so much so that I always refer my own family and friends to him when needed. He sure is one-of-a-kind in his specialty and hands down he is one of the best!

While working in the outpatient eating disorder clinic, I believe that Dr. Botkiss is an amazing doctor. He is very kind, caring and checked in with me regularly. As a nursing student, I have never seen a doctor actually put time into his patients. He took very care of while I was in the program, and would always check in with me.

I believe in Dr. Botkiss. Dr. Botkiss’ personality is upbeat and straightforward, with an innate sense to empower patients. He is a trusted advisor to find effective solutions for each patient’s best outcomes. Patients are encouraged to immerse themselves in their individualized treatment plans. Dr. Botkiss has distinguished himself as being a thought leader in the field of psychiatry. He was one of the first psychiatrists to offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to his patients (which I greatly benefited from) and has recently opened up a ketamine center as well as an evening recovery program for substance abuse. I was astonished to see the amount of negative reviews! In past years Dr. Botkiss was treating hospitalized patients, many of whom were admitted against their will because they were having suicidal or homicidal behaviors. I know that Dr. Botkiss saved my life and allowed me to realize dreams and goals that were blocked before his care. I am eternally grateful to him!

Dr. Botkiss is one of the most intelligent, experienced, and empathetic psychiatrists I've ever met. As such he is part of an undeniably small selection of psychiatrists who will listen to you, know how to help you, and most importantly, follow through. Dr. Botkiss went above and beyond for me and other patients and if you work with him and follow his advice you will be successful. I highly recommend him as a TMS practitioner but also as a true friend and ally who will do whatever it takes to help you get better.

I highly recommend doctor Botkiss and his anesthesiologist doctor Gillan that I saw for ketamine infusions the only problem it was too far for me to drive and the hours were not right for me

Never had an issue with him. I don't see the low rated stars for? I'll be back to see him once I get on my new works Healthcare. I haven't seen him in two year's.
