Dr. Philip Bucur, MD

I’ve been trying to make an appointment for the last two months and they never answer!! I press option 1- listen to music for 5 minutes then it hangs up on me!!!!

It's impossible to speak to the staff of Dr.Bucur's office. I called their number so many times, but it's always unavailable, and no one is there to answer, even during office hours. Very disappointed!

Unfortunately, I came to Dr. Bucur to get a stent that had been placed at another hospital (6 months prior) removed. Dr. Bucur performed the procedure and decided during the procedure to replace the stent I had w/ another one. He said it could be removed in 6 wks time. A few days after, I was in severe pain and bleeding. I called the office, they said it was normal. The pain and bleeding continued. I plead to be seen again and remove the stent. He refused and said that I would need plastic surgery for my ureter and had to be seen at a Univ. I felt completely helpless. At the 6 week mark, I called Dr. B's office to schedule the removal. He refused once again. I asked for a referral. Not soon after, I was able to see the doctor who had originally placed my stent before Dr. Bucur replaced it. He gladly did the procedure and removed my stent only days after Dr. Bucur refused to do so. He also concluded that I did not need plastic surgery or another stent and a separate Urologist agreed!

Incompetent nurses, terrible schedule, and big waste of time.
