Friendly but caused complications
I saw this physician for a simple issue. He was friendly and sociable. He needed to perform a procedure in office to which I agreed noting the risks associated. Ultimately I had larger complications due to the procedure that I believe were accidental but avoidable. It resulted in a lot of follow up for something that typically needs no follow up. An er visit, multiple visits to a specialist as well. While I can appreciate that this wasn’t intentional it did create a lot of hardship personally and financially. It took something with a few days to a week recovery and it evolved into a month long recovery with an additional two to three months to determine if I’ll get back to normal completely. There was a general apology made through patient relations but I do wish that they would consider alternate methods that are appropriate to avoid this potentially happening to someone else in the future. The amount of pain and the multiple visits to providers were a lot to manage.
