Worth getting his opinion but he missed something
Dr. Kennedy is the kindest doctor I have ever met, and told me he never gives up on a patient. But when I disagreed with his treatment plan, he told me I was non-compliant and to not come back. I saw a neurosurgeon instead, who found several problems with my spine that many other doctors and radiologists overlooked. Dr. Kennedy had the right idea at my first visit, but prior radiology reports were inaccurate and misled him. I do not fault him for that, but I feel that he preferred to find fault with me as a patient, rather than look for the right diagnosis. He wanted to treat me for a different condition and would not order any additional imaging on my spine. Dr. Kennedy is very intelligent, it is well worth getting his opinion. However always trust your instincts and get another opinion.

Not able to handle the basics
I saw that he was local to me with a cash-based practice and claimed to offer telehealth. I was more than happy to pay for a new patient appointment for care management for my spinal leak care. He told me by email erroneously that a neurosurgeon is who manages care for a spinal leak. This is not true. A neurologist is at the center of the care team and an anesthesiologist is typically who should be handling interventions with referrals from the neurologist. I had to ask for a refund for the appointment I booked because he obviously does not know the basics of care provision.

Best Neuro Doc
You will NEVER find another Neurologist like Dr. Kennedy. He is kind, Compassionate and truly cares how you feel. He has been my Neurologist for nearly 20 years or possibly 20 already and if ALL Doctor's had his bedside manner and Professionalism it would make our Doc visits a joy. Dr. Kennedy can NOT be replaced. I have the utmost respect for him and wish him nothing but the very Best!!

Appointment issues.
Gave up after being put on hold for 8 minutes trying to make an appointment. Is this the way to treat new patients? Not a good start. Will try someone else with a better staff!

We were 10 minutes late because my elderly disabled father who is the patient had a mishap in the car and the doctor refused to see him. And they canceled the appointment. It’s very difficult for us to take him out after his 2nd brain stroke. so we pleaded but all in vain.

Dr Kennedy is BACK! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kennedy’s since 1991. I have several chronic health conditions and have seen many, many drs over the years. Dr. Kennedy is hands down the best physician anywhere. He is extremely competent and thorough, he listens and CARES. Lots of Drs are always rushing, one hand on the door while they’re talking, not him. He actually takes the time for me and somehow manages to be kind and funny too. Hes now in snelville and the new office seems well run too.

This review is NOT based on Dr.Kennedy himself, per se. He is great and I really like him. Ultimately, however, I left his care because of his office staff. Very poor responsiveness to consumers. No one answers the phone consistently, it's either busy or just rings. It takes days to get things done, i.e. Insurance authorizations, prescriptions called in, etc. No call backs when they say they will. For what a person pays for their insurance and what Dr. Kennedy charges, I expected better care.

My poor rating is not necessarily a reflection of Dr. Kennedy's care, but ultimately he is responsible for his office customer service. Return of phone calls is often 3+ days. Often the phone either rings with no voice mail or busy for multiple days. No email contact as alternative. And I am forced to make individual appts for every ordered test, which is a real inconvenience. The excuse given was Medicaire will not pay otherwise.
