Dr. Miner, Do you remember how you saved the life of my mother with chrons disease so many years ago? At least you gave her more time. You also saved my life too. I had 24 hrs. left to ll. live. That is what you told my husband Steve. I have Primary Biliary Duct Didease. I still take my URSODIOL. Yes, it's me, Mary Beth Guy, Mary Grice's daughter. We all still love you and thank you for the wonderful Doctor you are and for the life time you have given us together. Steve and I live in Alliance, Nebraska. My sisters live in Okla. City, still. We love you! Bye!

Dr. Miner saved my life and put me on a medical path of accepting and understanding how to live with a chronic rate illness. He is very intelligent, honest and very respectful in ways no other physician has been able to follow. I suffered many years, until I was referred to Dr. Miner in 1996. I traveled out of town, 700 miles to be treated by him. He was always available and always took time to listen and great me professionally. A wonderful medical staff as well.

I saw Dr. Miner for 15 years after 6 years of doctors that could not treat me. Dr. Miner not only got me in remission several times with my UC but made me comfortable. Most people dread seeing their GI but I never felt that way. When I learned St. Anthony’s was no longer allowing him to renew his contract, I was devastated. It has taken me a year and a half to go see the new recommended doctor and I am very disappointed. He didn’t even touch me for an exam.

Have been going to Dr. Miner for 15 years He diagnosed me when countless others could not and said I wasn't following Drs orders. I'm so sad that he was forced to retire. God knows at age 70 he certainly deserves to retire, but should be allowed to do it when he is ready. Hope he can find another group and start seeing patients again!! I have tried 3 gastrologists to replace him and the last one comes very close. He is at least willing to continue the treatment plan Dr. Miner had me on. Miss U

I can't find Dr. Miner's office information anywhere. One phone number I called said he had retired. We've been seeing Dr. Miner for almost ten years now. The last we heard, he was going to join St. Anthony's but they just say he's not with the hospital.

I have used Dr. Miner several times in the past and was very happy with him. I guess the world has come to the strictly money aspect as doctors seem to overbook patients now to the point that my last visit, I stayed in the office over and hour and a half and was then told I should be called back soon. I did not wait as I feel my time is just as important as his, and that no person should have to sit and wait like that. Money is the main factor involved in a doctors appointments it seems.

I have the honor of being a patient of Dr. Miner for almost 20 years. I have very lengthy periods of illness that are managed very well by Dr. Miner. He has a terrific sense of humor and a kind and understanding bedside manner. He is incredibly intelligent, but never speaks in language I cannot understand. Angela, his RN, Susan and Kellie are terrific about returning communicating between patient and office regardless of the issue. I have and will continue to refer potential patients to him.

Dr. Miner has kept me well for many years. He is extremely knowlegable. Best in his field. As an educator I love the way he will take time to explain, in detail, what I need/want to know. Their office is quite busy so you may have to be patient for test results.

I have not met with Dr. Miner yet but I saw Dr. Cointepas his PA. I loved him. After seeing 2 other gastroenterologists, and being treated very poorly, I was thrilled with my visit. He took his time, listened, explained everything, and was very thorough. Their plan of action is much better than the others, who would have gone from A to Z putting me at risk unnecessarily. Would highly recommend.

Such an unusual doctor. He approaches his patients with humor, respect, and kindness. He talks to you, listens, asks lots of questions; he does this with all patients so be prepared to wait. Very smart guy with great staff and comprehensive answers. Travel 4 hours to see him because he's just the best around. I'm not fully recovered, but feel so lucky to have found him to help me. Dr. Miner takes the time needed to treat a patient. Don't know how I would've survived w/o him.

He was very knowledgeable and understanding. I went to him after another Gastrointologist totally took advantage of me and my insurance. Dr. Minor was very professional, his staff was amazing and his PA was just as awesome. My husband is also a patient and we both would recommend him to anyone!
