I am aware that for thorough, testing and diagnosis takes a long time. …. Always. for every appointment .( for those who are unaware ). I and my family are so grateful for R Rosemfeld M.D. lifetime of study, dedication, sharing of knowledge and his deep devotion to try to help others, maintain and or improve whatever possible in their vision. I could not be more grateful. Blessings to you and your staff for all your wisdom, continued research ,and kindness in a incredibly busy top in the world ocular clinic and hospital. Dr. Rosenfeld is undoubtedly an exceptional ophthalmologist in the field of retinal ophthalmology. Sadly, he's also a self-absorbed, pompous, arrogant jerk who thinks he's the cat's meow, intimidating his staff and condescendingly treating patients like children. After waiting two hours to see him, he spent less than a minute with me, and when I tried to talk to him about the prognosis for my condition, he motioned to the technician to escort me out of the room. I won't be going back.

I could not get an appointment with Dr Rosenfeld yet, but I'm waiting because I was referred to him from Argentina, and was told he is the best in his field. I'm losing my sight and I hope he might help me. I hope they'll call me and I can see him asap!

It was a disappointing and wasteful experience. My appointment was scheduled a year in advance to begin 4 tests starting at 9:45 am and ending around 11:30 am. I never saw Dr. Rosenfeld because after 4.5 hours of waiting in a freezing waiting area, I had had enough and simply walked out. Before leaving I asked when I might be seen, and was told the staff were still dealing with 9 am appointments, the same statement that was being told to all of us in the waiting all morning. Dr. Rosenfeld is a gifted specialist and a leader in his field. But for a hospital, staff and specialist to make patients waiting such long periods without a real estimation of when one will be seen, really brings the rating of service quite low for Dr. Rosenfeld and Bascom Palmoer

Dr. Rosenfeld is absolutely the most talented retina specialist in the U.S. He treats me for wet macular degeneration. Besides being the best, he is also very kind. I wouldn't go to anyone els3!

Dr. Rosenfeld is fantastic. I got a confusing diagnosis from another doctor, but Dr. Rosenfeld gave me a clear diagnosis and plan for the future. His bedside manner is great and he took time to talk with me. His whole team was great. My experience at Bascom Palmer was excellent. Appointments went as scheduled and staff were courteous and professional.
