Great Dr! He always listens and is good listener.
Dr. Ryan has been my endocrinologist for several years. He loves his job and it shows. Office staff is always helpful and the plebotomist is the best. You never feel the needle.

I saw Dr Ryan in September 2023 and I thought the visit went well. However his front office has yet to successfully submit my prescription. They continually fail to update the status of my order in my records so that the appropriate next steps can be taken and have put all of the leg work on me to figure out what is wrong, at times, even getting short with me as it appears that they don't know what to do if a fax isn't received, I suggested call, but that solution eludes them 4 months later, too much work I suppose; easier to just send a 3rd or 4th fax and hope it works this time. I was able to work out a path forward but as others have said they won't call me back, even on cases where they took an action to look into it and call me back with an update... Nothing. I have over 4 months of back and forth with them trying to get this order submitted. So if you are looking for an Endocrinologist, keep looking, you don't want to go though that so many other and I have experienced.

Horrible doctor and staff
Dr Ryan Philip is the worst doctor that I’ve ever had to deal with. First appointment we ever had we were made to wait an hour and a half after which Dr Philip Ryan showed up like nothing ever happened. He barely examined my daughter, didn’t ask anything about the medicine she was currently on. After that it all went downhill because we had trouble with the prescription. After calling numerous times about it (his office was also closed most of the time) his staff got angry at me told me ‘What do you want me to do about it!?’ and then hung up on me. What I wanted is for my daughter to get her medicine and I’m sorry that they did not want to help out in any way. As it stands right now my daughter has been without her medicine for a week and will continue to be so thanks to the office of Dr Ryan Philip.

Honest review
I absolutely love Dr Ryan. He helped me turn my diabetes around in a matter of months. Very professional. What is negative is his office staff. Calls are never returned. Lab results go answered. Bonnie….Office employee should be named Karen. Difficult to deal with. argumentative and extremely arrogant lacking in any professional experience. Worst employee I have ever encountered. Today office phone is disconnected. No clue what’s happening. Definitely not able to reach dr when needed. If dr Ryan was not such a wonderful dr I would walk away from his service.

My son and I see DrRyan and I feel this man is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He tells you the truth and holds nothing back. If you are doing well, he will praise you. If you are not he will tell you and give you ideas on how to fix it. Staff is friendly and professional. They always answer the phone so you never have to talk to a machine. I highly recommend him to anyone with diabetes.

My visit was a night mare 1. Red flag they don’t answer phones call back a couple of days you’ll see 2. Doctor ask questions but never answer yours 3. Charger extra to ask questions I caught this on my insurance just thinking if you have to pay him direct. He not honest. I’ve never seen charges like this my whole life.

I was treated by General Practitioners for almost 30 years for my diabetes, I was given insulin in 1984 and ballooned to over 300 lbs in the next 22 years, found Dr. Ryan to be more knowledgeable beyond any endocrinologist I had been to, took me off insulin immediately, I have dropped 65 pounds. I feel so much better! I am old,but I did not want to go through losing toes and other issues diabetics face, I feel like I owe him my life. I have recommended him highly and refer him often!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Ryan for 5 years now. And until now, have been satisfied with the care I’ve been given. He never explains my bloodwork results nor will his staff even allow me to speak with him! I recently had some bloodwork done at his office, and when I called to actually speak to Dr Ryan, I was told that he only sends letters and to continue my medication. The receptionist was extremely rude!

The only words I can ever say is he is very unprofessional. Don’t go to his office. He figures out a way to charge your insurance more money than he is even worth. Unfriendly, Unprofessional and spend your money on another Doctor Who will be friendly helpful and a find out your true needs.

I am very happy with Dr. Ryan. He diagnosed my son after he was misdiagnosed by another doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He listened to my concerns and was very patient with my son. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

I had the same experience as the previous poster. Dr. was very arrogant. Not friendly at all. Focused solely on his nutritionist, even inferred I had no issue, I just didn't realize how many calories I was actually eating. Ran tests on another issue. Never called w/ results.I got them myself to take them to another dr. Who was much more kind, and helped me. I wondered why I got in so quickly with Dr. Ryan, while all the other had a wait..now I know..good things come those who wait.

Do not go! Bedside manner is horrible. Very arrogant, has no bedside manner and only wants to refer you to his nutritionist. Has you fill out a 7 page questionnaire, but never goes over with it. Ignores most questions asked.
